Description
A cross over with Elphaba from Wicked and Elsa from Frozen. both played by Idina Menzel. I love these characters so had to draw them together.

Here is a question I am asking multiple people.
I am considering both Anna and Elsa for my list of my 16 favorite female characters. However, I feel like the biggest obstacle for Elsa is feeling less like her own character and more like Elphaba 2.0. Although I have never seen Wicked, I certainly have some idea of who Elphaba is. So I must ask, should I let that deter my enjoyment of Elsa?

Personally I don't let any of the other characters a voice actor has played affect the placements of a character on a list nor do I let it deter my enjoyment of a character, nor do I let what other people say about a character affect me. I base my choices entirely on their story, character arc, and of course their aesthetics. (have to admit, sometimes I base it purely on aesthetics...) Sometimes the voice actor does have a lot to do with the whole reason I love a character in the first place, but on the subject of Elsa and Elphaba, they have more in common other than their voice actor. They're both embodiments of empowerment and defiance, turning their backs on the people who love them in order to protect them from the inevitable chaos they cause. As for Anna she refuses to turn her back on anything or anyone and is ever the optimist, full of determination. But her weakness is that she is too open to the world which results in her being hurt.
Basically what I'm saying is, don't let what others say about a character you love deter you or affect where you place them on your list. It is your list, biast and opinionated (that's a good thing because you are voicing your views).

I adored the movie frozen and love wicked to death.
It would be interesting to see a cross-over of these two worlds and i am now hoping that someone will create a "Let it go" and "Defying gravity" mash up/ remix.
