Couldn't resist this quicky, the thought made me smile while I was making a cuppa'... Sometimes I'm embarrassed by how little time and effort I put into my submissions

One thing I love about this is as fun and clever as this is, in the Doctor Who universe one could probably come up with a plausible reason as to why this was actually tried

Not sure about the future though! Captain Jack was gay, then Capaldi allowed to use his Scottish accent (unlike Tennant), then Master becomes Missy, then a lot of understanding and sympathy for the bad guys...We're venturing deep into the political and that's not right, however, that has always been the BBC's MO

Just seems plausible to me... like a frequency pulse produced by a cyberman's brain interface circuits would cause interference with the Tardis' locking shields, but only if the cyberhead receives a sharp blow in close proximity to the shields. Naturally the Dalek's would miss the joke of it being a battering ram, but use the technique as a logical application of force. I can totally see that being in an episode

Or better still the Yetis, with their mental crying noise and glowing eyes
In short.... I'd like Dr Who to scrap the psychobabble and the 1.2 million quid/episode budget and go back to being a kids show (for adults).

Think I told you before, back in the 60s I used to pass a couple of these police boxes on the way to school each morning.... Inside I remember seeing a mop - bucket, a chair, sawdust, teapot, etc. in short all the essentials needed to deal with a serious civil emergency (think that's why the TARDIS is so dear to those Brits of a "certain age", we grew up with them!)

It's easy radaVid, it's basically the two-party system anywhere in the world: Both the Daleks and the Cybermen (sworn enemies) want to be our lords and masters and they constantly throw each other under the bus to achieve that goal
