Updated tutorial from a long ago.
At least here it looks much cleaner, no?
I think the steps speak for themselves.
I tried to make it easy to mimic what I did.
Program: Krita
Brush: Basic paint fill, Basic paint shade
If you feel you'll mess up, do each step
on a separate layer then collapse it into
one once you're satisfied.

And don't always trust a how-to book.
They only show the generic side.

It's okay. I should have explained what Krita is. Krita is a painting program almost like Sai and Photoshop but does not have all the tools and fancy buttons and effects. It has most of what you need for digital art. I'm still figuring it out so this is as much information as I can give you.

Yea, I try to avoid photoshop. Hence why I used either MyPaint or Krita.
