Here you are, drawing another awesome Alex/Albert art: the best is yet to come they say, and they are right.
Once again, saying you did a marvelous job on this is an understatement. As someone has already told you before me, it really was Alex and Albert that you drew this time: vicious, violent and in love I'd say, but I see it wouldn't sound that good in this context
Artistically speaking, your work on their poses is impressive: the way you pictured them is so natural and their expressions are so intense they could easily be translated into a sculpture, if you know what I mean. Wesker's face and anatomy are just perfect, while Alex… well, Alex is the embodiment of Beauty itself, so what I'm even talking about
Everything is sheer perfection in this picture, from the execution to the meaning hidden behind: you're really paying respect to these two, thank you for that!

Ohhh, now I'm curious: I only believe in Alex/Albert as a couple, yet I also recognize Albert had an affair with Excella and it was definitely not for her best, so now I want to see what's in your mind. I've always thought of Excella as a pretty clever girl "gone wild" when Wesker popped out and deceived her -an ambitious yet still young woman who was cheated and finally died at the hand of the man who claimed to be her king. Wesker, you asshole xD
About Albert's domination over Alex, I believe it's some kind of role-playing game: Wesker surely is a man who wants control but always ends up losing it whenever Alex is involved (just think about that evolution by means of Uroboros crap). Let's say I guess Alex could take control over him whenever she wanted to, yet was sooooo nice to let him take over every once in a while
Nonetheless, I also agree with what you said: Alex's dominant character when dealing with other people just goes a bit bye-bye when she's with Albert, perhaps.

Well, I've always thought of Alex as a strong and independent woman on the outside, yet fragile and fractured within -a half person wanting for what they were never given. I don't think Albert ever used her as (canonically speaking) they refer to each other as "soul mates" (or even "spouse") and are always connected thanks to the Progenitor virus, leading them to develop one strong and unbreakable bond (not even death could separate them). There is no doubt Wesker played many women to get to his goals, but I don't believe Alex was one of them: don't forget the Uroboros Project ultimately was to save her and make her immortal.
And yes, I also think Alex could take control whenever she wanted to: Albert is just a simple man after all and fights to save what's most important to him (and in the end it's human to give in to what one loves, for once).

Exactly I also think the same about Alex, she is a physically very weak woman, I also believe her personality, but with a mentality that is undoubtedly unbreakable, that is why I manage to transfer her consciousness to another person. That's true, I think Spencer did want Alex and Albert to become rivals so that they could grow (or at least Albert could grow) better and better, but they ended up being lovers instead. Although this is quite different from what the old man had in mind, I can't help thinking about his ultimate goal: create a new superior race of humans born from the Progenitor Virus he could rule as their god. And, well... how can you make it happen having one compatible man (Albert) and one compatible woman (Alex)? That goes without saying I guess (and that's one thing that has always got me interested).

There is an underlying pain in the Weskers: a pulsating core that would make you blind, like a modern Medusa.
Alex and Albert are an agglomeration of unspoken words, wrong phrases, lost moments and feelings pushed deeper into themselves, left to die of hunger and despair.
They are twisted, hurted, bound together by a past trauma that unites them and makes them soulmates - a trauma to which they respond in a completely different way.
If I had to choose which of my OTPs is more dysfunctional and twisted - which tells the tragedy with a big "T", I would say without a doubt Alex and Albert.
Because they love each other, these two unfortunates souls, but of that love that hurts, drips with every breath, bleeding at every word.

Thank you very much honey, you know, you tell me what you want, I do it- this drawing is special it was a little complicated, the position of Albert's head was difficult, it was ugly and it was not recognizable, it looked like everything except him.
I have always had the doubt if Albert really loves her, and not because he does not have feelings She, of course, loves it. I think his attraction is due to the Progenitor, pure instinct, but not love, that is why so much violence and savagery in his encounters. But over time they got used to it and both are needed, whether they want it or not.

Naaaaah, this picture is beautiful and Albert is absolutely recognizable, indeed: I can tell you that his profile, so hard and sleek, is one of the best designed I have met so far.
I believe that there are different forms of love; Albert, in his own way, loves Alex.
To undoubtedly bound them a series of shared experiences, including the past, the Project, Spencer and the virus, which is undoubtedly a primitive and wild force that speaks and sings for and with them, but not only.
Despite being two "monsters", Alex and Albert are very human: they have their weaknesses and doubts.
Alex and Albert have told so much in this path - defeat, redemption, anger, frustration, hope.

We started their story with a defeated woman, tears: a queen who fell before her coronation.
We watched them collide and hurt each other and fight like wild beasts; be willing to hurt themselves, but not to kill themselves: to fuck each other, but not to declare love to each other.
We ended up with the same man who accepts what who he is - his weaknesses, his feelings.
We have concluded with the same burning woman claims a role that time tears away with every breath.

Albert and Alex grow, mature, live and die together - a normal couple, basically.
