Description
The MKI variant madcomm.deviantart.com/art/SEL… was designed as a siege and defense unit, effectively granting infantries with the armoring and firepower of heavy vehicles (and more with certain variants), but came with noticeable drawbacks such as agility, maintenance and deployment, limiting the MKI's role to purely being defensive.

The MKII is a rework of this model - a lighter, yet still efficiently armored build. The digitigrade leg setup allows it a surprising speed, and the tail allows it to retain it's balance during sharp movements. The strong frame allows it to carry heavy weapons.

The unit is made with a simplified yet modular structure, allowing it to be modified for particular tasks - such as smaller multiple handed limbs for utility and maintenance purposes, or downright heavy weapon compartments turreted upon the shoulders or replacing the arms. The unit sports a powerful scouting and sensor, communication suite, and can undertake basic electronic warfare in a pinch - although specialised units can do remarkably well in this. The unit can also be outfitted with extra armoring or mobility boosters.

All in all, the MKI, also named "STORM LORD" (which was the name given to it by it's author) can be outfitted and specialised for any plausible roles - be they civic or military in role, ranging from security, safety, rescue, medical, repair, utility, logistical, fire support, anti vehicle, anti infantry and so on.

The 7th legion has started adopting these units, having outfitted a few squads.

A lower efficiency analogical, EMP proof variant is also available.
