Description
"Live in London not in Tokyo."That girl is an old friend of mine who now lives in London. She's a real lady and her fashion photos were inspiring me.
"MS" are her initials.
She has weird eyes, doen't she. I tried something else. Actually I were inspired by:

Yeah her eyes are lovingly creepy ! I like the mix between your strong black'n white drawing and the flashy tones in the background, looks like an illustration for a magazine, but a bit more twisted

By too simple you mean for the background ? I think your character is quite balanced beteween details and synthesis of shapes.
after several looking, I won't say its burtonesque, but a lilltle small tinty bit Niheiesque

Yep, and a bit too simple! I tried to use this eyes furthermore, but also like my standart eyes, too... tricky xD

Yeah, I try to experiment a bit because I hate it people call my drawings 'Burtonesque'... I try to catch my own style in time! : )

Oh, yes indeed! I was thinking in a magazine advertisment, too. Actually I'm a worker for an advertising agency, so this sounds plausible!

The style and line of this drawing is positively fantastic. It has such a delightful quality - it reminds me of some of the cartoon sketches of Thurber, but also has such a clean finished look to it. Thanks for sharing such a cool piece with us.
