Description Kevin Milner has a rotting corpse in his mill.
A BIG corpse.

How and why it is there he cannot possibly guess.
And it keeps disappearing and returning with great chunks taken out of it.

A Lovecraftian tale of urban horror, this illustrated short story will keep you guessing all the way to its terrifying conclusion!

Incredibly creepy.  Probably shouldn't have read this in the dark at midnight.  When it happened it caught me off guard pretty good.  beer didnt help that either.

This is brilliant! O_o

So this is more like a short story with an illustration within it rather than comic book.

I love it though, very much. <3

Thank you! That was the idea. It was a short text story I wrote based on a dream, and we though it would make an interesting Motion Book... not a comic at all! I think this format allows for a great many possibilities!

Wow, maybe that dream I had a long time ago could make for an interesting story, and that's exactly what I've done. It's not an actual story yet, but I'm brainstorming on it.

Dreams are THE BEST place for inspiration! Hope you manage to put some form on to it and craft a story as I did!

Oh, this was terrifying and disgusting, but so fascinating at the same time! I can't say I enjoyed it, exactly, but it was very good, and I couldn't stop. It also shows very well that writers can make use of motion books, as you've said. Oh boy, I think I'm in for some nightmares tonight.

LiamRSharp In reply to revgar [2013-05-29 02:40:49 +0000 UTC]

Hey there. I guess this kind of work isn't for everybody, but we wanted to show the WRITERS on dA that there is room for them as well as artists. This story was a text story originally, and not illustrated. Most of the other stories are less wordy, and more sequential. I hope you have found some you like better!

mglanzer [2013-05-17 11:08:38 +0000 UTC]

Great story altogether. The Ending was a bit flat tho.

But really - It's hard to get 'fantastic horror stories' anymore, and the whole plot reminds me a lot of the darker tales by Roald Dahl (much more even than Lovecraft's fiction - but you managed to hit the exact point where both of them meet thematically. Also I feel constantly pointed to some portions of TSR's Planescape setting, where - in some places - it would be commonplace to have the corpse of a god pop up at your lawn (some people in the Outlands even built their houses into dead god's skeletons ).

Anyway. The whole thing merges a lot of things I like together, therefore I'd like to read/see more of it. This also is the first time, I feel urged to give you a tip of some kind.

Well, thank you for doing awesome stuff.
