Look closer. It's not a link. Thank you. The fact that some of you thought it really was an actual fic makes me sad. D: Because that means there are fics that look just like it.Now, don't get me wrong, I love reading fanfiction and I'm perfectly fine with original characters as supporting or sometimes even main characters. But I hate, hate, hate when people make up a female original character that is overly cliche (kind-hearted, good-looking, good at everything, everyone likes her, etc.) and insert her into a fandom universe where one or every character falls in love with her, even if it's against that character's nature. All this is is girls who want to have sex with a fictional guy and thus inserting a glorified, overly-perfected version of themselves into said universe and then making up some half-assed plot to go along with the gratuitous amounts of gag-worthy sex.
That's like saying 'I love these characters, but I wanna be in there with them and make them fall in love with me! This story's all about MEEEE~' There's a lot of it. And I'm a little sick of seeing it.

I can't explain myself it but the last paragraph really describes how I feel. I lose interest in (most of) my fandom because I see a CRAPLOAD of these Mary Sue OCs that always, always, always, have a close relationship with main/support/villian/secondary characters. I don't mind a friendly relationship but it always turns out that their OC is this person's lover. Tragic pasts too, most of them went overboard. <.<;;;

I HATE when fanfiction authors put an oc with a main character....there fine if they aren't in a relationship with the main character but if they are it ruins it (<---hope that's the right icon o.o) and what also irks me is when they put Sebastian x Ciel in the character A and B thing but have one(or both) pare ms with an oc....it ticks me off...o/////o im sorry about the rant...I'm just happy ONE awesome artist/person agrees with me

I seriously agree with you! Even though I'm guilty with thoughts like that...
But isn't that what most fanfics are about? Of course, reading tons of mary-sues are annoying, even one of my fics need serious rewrite because of it... Besides, almost everyone starts with a MarySue then work their way up from there (unless they're the type that do not want to improve and stay where they are...).
When I read/watched Kuro, I instantly thought that Sebby was a Gary Stu. Sebastian is like the epitome of perfection, he makes his imperfections LOOK like they're perfect.
Then again, this is my opinion. Still, MarySues are a pain in the ass and I tend to steer clear away from them, especially when it's clearly written in the first few sentences...
