Description
The reason this is called "Godot" is because I happen to be reading "waiting for Godot" and i cant think of anything else. nothing else seems appropriate. it actually has nothing to do with the picture. Maybe thats why it works.the picture - the reference is here [link]
So here is what happened
I used one brush, one layer, one day
my computer is as tired as my wrist.
I wanted to see if i could still do digital after taking a year long break.
I think I can.

Oh wow. I thought at first this was related to Phoenix Wright, in fact he looks somewhat like him XD But I like it still, and because it's such a wonderful piece, it deserves a place in my favs.

Beautiful.. in a middle aged sailor guy kinda way. This is really awesome, expecially his eyes. Oh.. and your reference is HUGE! I could see if he had any clogged pores or recent scabs that picture was so big, but a big reference is a good reference, right? Very well done, and you spent just a day on it? This is a fav for sure.

I think I know what you are trying to achieve with your series... And I appreciate the thought behind it as much as I appreciate the skill. Thank you.

That's incredible.
Haha, props for the whole Beckett thing--en effet, it's got nothing to do with the play--Godot has a white beard (like a personal God, as Lucky would say, quaquaqua)--although perhaps the absurdist angst on his face does. Anyway, AMAZING skills.

Hi.
I put this over the photo to compare both if you don't mind. I see that some parts match very well together so you must have used a grid as you worked on that.
However, his eyes are so wonderful expressive.
I am not sure but have I invited you already to [link] ?
