Description Top is painted, bottom is just a referance to what it origonally looked it.

Lots of people on the Brass Goggles forum (A Steampunk group) like to paint Nerf guns SP-y colors, this is my first attempt at it!

Yaay for me. Its a little messy, just wanted to see how the gun would take the colors. Next time I'll take it apart and spray primer first. Being able to see the origonal colors kind of gave me a biased opinion on what peices should have the same colors.

I envy you. I wish my first attempt at painting a gun looked that good. I would ask if you get the time to check out the props I painted, from water guns, so you can possibly give me some pointers on what I could be doing wrong. I would point out any flaws in your work if I knew what to look for so I could help you out. However, I am not even sure if what I have created is worthy of kudos or a quick trip to my work bench to be sanded and repainted. I hope you will give me some pointers, but I understand if you don't. Thanks for reading, and again awesome work on your nerf gun.

This looks awesome! the 'messy' parts of it just add more character. really great way to alter it.

Wow. I guess people are going real brass on these things... I went with steel. ---> [link]

Only, I thought when I bought mine, "I wonder if anyone else has ever thought of painting theirs?"

Little did I know...

very nice work, though primer always does help the paint get a better grip on it, especially with metallics
