Naomi: (Sneaks into the building, and walks over to the tank containing the merman) Seems clear...
Merman: (Watches me, quietly)
Naomi: Huh? Um... Hi.
Merman: ........
Naomi: (Grabs a chair, and quietly carries it over the tank, then puts my lantern down) I can imagine how you feel... Being taken away from home.
Merman: ...?
Naomi: A beautiful creature like you, belongs in a beautiful place. Not in this trashy place they call a "Circus"...
Merman: ......?
Naomi: You don't talk much, do you?
Merman: ........ (Looks away)
Naomi: I want to get you out of here.
Merman: Huh?! How?!
Naomi: *So you can talk* I have a friend who is a hydromancer. He can control water to do anything he wants. He too, want to you.
Merman: Why would you want to help me...?
Naomi: Because... I love someone who is trapped just like you. Chained, beaten, mocked, tortured, and desperate. I can't do much to save him, but I can still help you.
Merman: When do we start?
Naomi: Tonight.
Merman: Wait, you mean right now?!
Naomi: Of course! (Looks over toward the entrance, and sees my friend quietly walk in)
???: Ready?
Naomi: Yes. Are you ready?
???: Yes. And you?
Merman: ...........Yes.

Великие духи, у Вас просто потрясающие работы, но в эту я без лишних слов влюбилась. Случайно увидела, и он меня заворожил, пусть до этого момента тема тритонов и русалов совсем меня не трогала. Мне безмерно хотелось бы узнать какую-нибудь небольшую историю судьбы этого тритона, хоть и понимаю, что ее скорее всего нет, раз герой был нарисован на челлендж. Вы потрясающе передали всю атмосферу гнилостного чувства безысходности, его душевной усталости. И, возможно, даже смирения со своей судьбой, но все же тихой тоской по свободе. Даже страшно представить, сколько он провел в этом тесном аквариуме, в котором и не пошевелиться толком, в мутной воде и постоянном мраке под куполами цирка. В одиночестве, которое прерывают лишь сальные взгляды бессчетных зрителей. И всюду человечьи лица без человеческой души, как говорится у Северянина. Изумительная по своей эмоциональной глубине работа, которая затронула меня за живое, за душу, что мне хочется даже обнять Вас в порыве этих обуревающих меня эмоций благодарности, ибо меня очень редко что-то трогает и настолько очаровывает, выдергивая из стабильно устало-равнодушного состояния. Спасибо Вам душевное за этого тритона, который смог расшевелить мое сердце.
