Well, how about you check if there's German classes available in your area? If not, you could always start out by learning online and following tutorials such as this: (click on the stamp and below it there will be links to tutorials on different aspects of the German language). After you've required some basic knowledge, watch some German movies even if you don't understand everything, it's good practice to hear how things are pronounced. You can also practise by talking to Germans.

Oh, wenn das so ist, dann gibt es jede Menge Gruppen. Suche einfach mal über 'Groups' nach den Stichworten 'Deutsch' oder 'German', dann wirst du sicherlich schnell fündig. ;>
