There's also a running joke in a crack role-play we're doing that 1 is also addicted to sugary treats, ice cream most of all.

The crying Tully panel was doodled as an after thought, simply because his first reaction would be attempt to steal the candy and not cry over it. However, this is chibi land and in chibi land, Tully cries.
