Ah, the third piece in my Family Guy/Griffin family series! This took approx. 2 months (which is longer than it should have taken) to complete, and I think it was worth it.....although now I understand why everyone hates Meg now!Related content

PLEASE! Really the reason Meg is so hated is because she's not like them...A DOUCHEBAG!!! Β Unlike them she's the most NORMAL with the most common sense and they just can't handle that about her Β and sometimes she'll do some wrong things but that's only when she's CONFUSEDΒ Β

I loved this episode, she gave her family and bullies a taste of their own medicine. Though I wish she didn't fully go back to her old self just like her makeover self, she should be able to fight and keep her tattoo while wearing clothes, makeup and hairstyle similar to her makeover except the blonde hair.
There is so much more to Meg, people say she's fat and gross but she isn't, she shows that she is beautiful and can be a fighter. Meg shouldn't worry on being part of the in crowd or her family, she should work on becoming the things she's experienced and the truth is, her mom and maybe Connie are jealous of her and they can see Meg has potential, Lois is getting old and when Connie is eighteen her looks will fade due to drug use and unprotected sex.

While you raise some good points, Meg is basically the punching bag of the Griffin family.Β I think the reason they keep her as "ugly Meg" is to identify with young girls who really do feel that way.

I see your point, though I wish that Meg would finally put her foot down, since she represents what most young girls feel she could be an inspiration for them showing them they don't have to put up with their family or anyone's crap.

LOL that episode is great!Β I think my favorite Family Guy cross stitch though is Brian as the "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" banana.Β Peter holding his knee is a close second.Β The pattern for Meg was the most fun to make (except the glasses.Β For some reason I can't do round shapes).

I think I do (to some point) understand what you mean. I don't love stitching the same color to much, but if it's the last color and I don't have to focus on how many stitches across or I need to keep changing colors, it can be relaxing.

Yes, that's what I love.Β If I need to recreate that feeling but it's not the last color and I DO need to pay attention to the number of stitches, sometimes I will draw the outline of the color directly onto the fabric with a pencil so I don't screw up (if I'm paying attention, that is.Β Sometimes I mess up with this method too, but I can usually fix it).

Thanks! I plan to do the entire Griffin family. Chris is next (I was going to do him picking his nose, but my roomie suggested the naked spaceman....now I'm torn!). Brian will be in the banana suit for "peanut butter jelly time" and Stewie in the hamster ball!
