Description Finally Finished, Its not very good because I’m crap at texturing and lighting and I cant be bothered to keep doing this because it takes about 4 hours to render each time.

hmm very well done
i'm pleaed you noticed that the dalek eye stalk is different to a normal daleks
it anoyes me when someone takes a normal dalek head and just places it the dalek emperor body

That is kinda how I pictured the modern Dalek Emporer. Whenever I think of him I see him with large mechanical spiderlike legs.

This looks pretty cool...I have absolutely no idea HOW people render like this so clearly. I remember my sister got a program once and did a head thing using the tutorial, but it looked like some PS1 thing...BAD PS1 thing.
Is this an 'official' rendition or not? As in, is the Dalek design featured here a proper one?

I modeled it after deeing it on the new Dr Who series its at the end of the first series.

I think this is exellent! The detailing is amazing. I loved that Dalek from the 2nd doctor and it made a reappearence with the 9th doctor.

Was this dalek one of your own designs, if so it's a great effort, but how does it get about, does it use hover features?

Praise him! Do not blaspheme!

Excellent job on the modernised Emperor (Though slightly off topic... I wish it'd been Davros' head in the tank...).

I have Lightwave... not the best modeller, but an excellent renderer. If you want, you could send the Object file to me and I could see what I could do with it. It is very interesting, and the way you have it displayed is awesome, but like everything else I've seen by you, it looks like a plastic model... which just means the textures need some more thought... granted mine aren't perfect either ^_^

Yea, I know what you mean about the render time. I have that too.. I'll do a render and then wait.. the find out the lighting is crappy. Then do it again and wait etc.. But this is pretty cool. I love the model.
