I completely remodeled the old puddle jumper from my gallery I would say that this one is about 10 times more detailed that the old one. I have also added a little fly around animation so you can see what itβs really looks like and itβs less than 1MB so check it out.Related content

Great modelling... how can I download the animation? I tryed clicking the picture but didnΒ΄t work

Looks great but you should make just the cut for the other drone launcher (i think it starts at the first half part of the ship (lengh) until the engines) and finally on the front upper inner arch of the ship if you could do a chamfer (small) what proggie do you use?

I've also checked you old one, great too, except the top part that i see that is fixed here, and that chamfer is just to made it a bit more smooth (i made this mistake on the prometheus and i'm trying to avoid it now)

Yeah, for some reason, I must be a n00b or something, but i can't figure out how to download it.
Also, your ship looks a little too plasticy... granted the ancient puddle jumpers arent the most shiny things, but they do have some specularity and a more silvery color. Try a dull (not flat, not shiny, dull) silver/gray hull, with green and brown stains clouding and tarnishing it.

pretty nice job on the modeling. what prog do you use?
the materials could be a bit better though. you could add some texture to the metal body and tweak the glass a bit so it has refraction and some more specular.
