The Daily Deviation you got was awesome and detailed, but I really love this slightly more simple collection. So pretty!

So pretty! You guys have me hooked on these things, or at least the idea of them. I'm working on mapping one out right now, so that in theory I can give it to my Mom for Mother's Day.

Well, it's survived the paper test. And yes, I did print out the grids, fold them, and essentially construct a paper biscornu, with a brad for the button, just to make sure the pattern went around like I wanted it to. Silly me wants to make the pattern be continous and carry across the seams before it morphs into the simpler bottom design.

Good news, it passed the paper test. Now just to figure out what to do with a paper biscornu...

That sounds like a good idea actually since you want the pattern to continue on I really can't wait to see what you make now!

Fill it with rice and use as a paper weight?

For now it's going to sit by, handy for when I get time to work on it. I don't want my mom to see it.
