Description It was nighttime, the full supermoon using it’s beautiful light as a blanket on the earth, it’s reflection on the sea like a mirror, the night sky covered in sparkling stars like black paper covered in glitter. Under this clear, dark celestial sky, was a girl just walking away from a party that hasn’t ended yet.

The girl, Sophia, grew bored of the party and eventually left, questioning why she was invited in the first place when it’s just a party with illegal stuff like teens drinking alcohol and worse, doing things that they shouldn’t do.

So to leave the party, she walked out the door and was now left walking to the dock to go and greet the southern resident orca, Zale, who came with his pod to find food. Sophia hoped that there was enough chinook salmon for them to eat because these orcas are dying out slowly.

The teen girl came and watched as the large dolphin-called-whale come close to her just like Willy from Free Willy. Sophia reached out a hand and patted his nose, feeling the cold, smooth, wet skin. She smiled, remembering how great it is to touch and even befriend a creature that has low chance of befriending a human.

“Hey, Zale,” she said.

Zale whistled to Sophia. Sophia, glad that she has zoolingualism, understood what he was saying.

“Hi, Sophia. What were you doing?”

“Oh, nothing,” Sophia said. “Just walking after a party with my friends there.” Her thumb pointed behind her, telling Zale that she was at the party before.

Zale communicated with his human friend by clicks. “Why don’t you go back to this ‘party?’ It sounds like a meeting for humans.”

“Ugh... Those calves are doing disgusting stuff you don’t want to know,” Sophia replied. “Yes, it’s a meeting. But a meeting where shit happens.” She stuck out her tongue in disgust.

“Why are you alone, then? Should you stay close to someone older? You’re just a calf.”

“Because I just want to be free from all that stuff. Gross. And I’m just a wolf pup who becomes a lone wolf pup when things don’t match my interests. And also I’m already old enough to be on my own. I’m not really a calf anymore.”

Zale released adorable squeaks in response. “I know you’re not really a calf and ready to go off on your own, but you’re still a fragile calf. Even with a paintbrush or kinetic powers, you could still end up hurt. Why would you be on your own? With no older humans? Are you depressed?”

“No, I’m not depressed. I just feel the need to be free from boredom and all that stress. That’s all.”

“Well, just don’t go off on your own. Go with a human friend or someone who is trustworthy.”

“Yeah, but I like being away from my kind. But when you’re here, I’m not alone, Zale. I’m here with you, even if you are a water animal.”

“True, true, but you know that if you’re alone, you could get yourself hurt. Or worse. Killed. I won’t be able to help much since I’m a creature that can only survive in water.”

Sophia looked down a bit, thinking.

He’s right. I’m still a calf in a way. I could become victims of a murder, get lost in the night when I’m in the ocean. And maybe become separated from my birth family for life.

Sophia sighed. “I guess you’re right.”

“That’s right. Speaking of which, who and what was that little creature. That black and white... creature. Who and what is it?”

“Does he have ears and tail of a fox, a cat, horns?”

“Um. Yes. The horns, I guess. And black eyes and those things you cover with those... fins.”

Horns, things that cover the fins or hands, black and white, black eyes.

“That’s Bendy the dancing demon.”

“Demon?!”

“He’s not like the ones in Hell. He won’t me or make me do shit. He’s more like an angel than a demon. And yeah, he has these forms that will make him look monstrous and even act monstrous, but he’s still like an angel.”

“So a risen demon?”

Sophia laughed at that. The opposite of a fallen angel. “Not exactly. Just like Mickey Mouse, he’s a cartoon character. If he was a ‘risen demon,’ then the cartoons should show it.”

“I see.”

“He’s an amazing person. I think you’ll like him.”

“Okay.”

After a long while of awkward silence, I stood up and brushed myself off. “Anyway, I think I should—“

“No, Sophia! There’s something—“

“What?”

Too late. Sophia turned to feel very sharp pain across her chest and stomach. She fell down and saw large, bloody wounds that look big enough to drain all of her blood out. She looked up to a tall figure standing in front of her. A body that revealed its bones, making it look like the person hasn’t eaten for months, the right hand black and the other hand covered by a glove, the body covered mostly in black, has a drooped bow tie, and most of its face covered except for the smile. It was Ink Bendy. His hands were sharp and covered in blood.

Sophia winced from pain and placed her arm across her large wound. Blood trickled down from her mouth as tears filled her eyes, looking up to the evil form of Bendy.

Zale released an orca scream. “Sophia!”

Sophia wasn’t able to hear her orca friend’s scream. “Bendy..,” she whispered.

“Sophia! Run! I’ll hold him off!”

Sophia looked and saw Zale rushing to the side to prepare biting Ink Bendy, but Ink Bendy swiped at him. Luckily, he missed.

“NO!” Sophia shouted to Zale. “One bite and you’ll swallow his poison.”

Zale stopped and watched as black liquid dripped from Ink Bendy’s body. Too him, it was like oil, the most poisonous resource to ocean animals. He remained a feet away, but thinking of how he should protect Sophia.

“They’ll all pay...” Those were the only words Sophia and Zale heard from him. Sophia was confused why Bendy was like this. Her demon best friend. Her brotherly figure. Was attacking her, but why? Sophia stood up on her legs slowly and stood up bravely, her arm and shirt covered in her blood.

“Bendy, don’t you remember me?” she asked, rasping. “Sophia? That girl who is like your little sister? Who loves to prank people with pie in the face?”

“Liar. LIAR!!!” Ink Bendy yelled.

“Sophia! No!”

“‘All demons are evil,’ they say. ‘They should go back to Hell,’ they say. ‘That freaks doesn’t belong here.’ You people always say you do things that are right. Look at what you’re doing now. Christians say they should ‘love thy neighbor.’ Well, they are hating on a creature who doesn’t hurt a soul, even if they are creatures that are seen as evil. Well, I’ll show them who’s going to Hell! Starting with you!”

Sophia gasped and uses much of her energy to create a beam of light that was shot from her hand and it hit Bendy off the wood of the dock. She teleported to him, but remained her distance.

“Bendy!” Sophia called. She grunted from pain. “Hey! Stop this! Do you even recognize me?!”

“Oh, shut up,” Bendy growled as he stood back up. “I recognize you so well. You’re one of those stupid Christians. And what they’ve done to me? Oh... I’m showing them a taste of their own medicine. Now hold still.”

Bendy uses a bit of his inky powers to create a tentacle and catch Sophia. Sophia screamed with pain as she felt the ink run into her wounds.

Dammit, she thought.

“HEY!”

A flash of blue fire was seen passing by Bendy and Sophia and the two looked to where the fire came from. Cuphead!

“Get away from her!” the cup shouted and shot blue bullets at Bendy.

Mugman did the same and shot with his brother. Bendy covered himself as he got shot. While he was distracted, Sophia used much of her strength to pull her arms out and create a gun made with darkness and shot bullets at him.

The toon demon growled and shot tentacles at the two cups, leading them to get wrapped up tight and unable to break free.

“Bendy!” Cuphead shouted. But the demon didn’t reply.

Bendy then used his powers to create more tentacles and wrap them around people who dares to interfere. He looked back and saw two girls, who Sophia recognized—Evelyn and Alexis—all caught in the tentacles. Then Bendy turned around and started walking towards Sophia. The girl tried to wriggle herself free as the tentacles tightened its hold, making pain go through Sophia’s body.

Bendy chuckled. “You’re not going anywhere.” His hands grew more claw-like, making Sophia growl more and try to break free by wriggling.

“BACK AWAY!!!”

A splash of water hit Bendy and a small rock hit his horn. Bendy turned around and saw Evelyn with her staff and Alexis with her wand, glaring ferociously at the Ink Demon.

“More?!” Bendy asked. “Grrr. Don’t think you can beat me with your little fantasy works.”

An inky tentacle swiped to the two, only for the two girls to dodge immediately.

Evelyn used her staff to shoot icicles at Bendy, which he dodged. She still kept shooting, only to get caught by an inky tentacle that grabbed her around the waist and pulled her up. Another pulled her staff away from her hand.

“Alexis!” Evelyn shouted.

But Alexis is too far. The blonde girl used vines to catch Bendy on the feet. She attempted to keep him down, but she only got grabbed by another tentacle instantly, causing her to drop her wand.

“NO!” Alexis shouted.

Fire and bullets were shot at Bendy at both sides. Everyone looked and saw Sasha and Melissa Abela, the centaur. Sasha held a fire ball in her hand and Melissa #2 is pointing a rifle at Bendy.

“Get yer fuckin’ tentacles away from them, ya wee bastard!” Sasha shouted.

“Do it or I’ll shoot!” Melissa #2 shouted.

“Imbeciles,” Bendy mumbled. And used his tentacles to attempt to catch the two. Melissa #2 shot at the tentacle, but the bullets only went through. The tentacle grabbed and wrapped around her waist and horse legs.

Sasha shot fire at the ink, but nothing worked. She used her sword and sliced the ink tentacle. She used it again on another, but then, she got grabbed by the foot and it made her slip and another tentacle went around her waist and slammed her to the ground, holding her tight.

“How about I make sure no one interferes,” Bendy said and used his power to attack anyone who dares with tentacles.

Sophia and all the other magical girls who tried to stop him all saw tentacles on buildings, roads, sidewalks, everywhere except the docks. Bendy smiled and walked to Sophia.

Sophia growled angrily.

“Dammit, Bendy!” she said. “It’s me!”

“Yeah, it’s you,” Bendy replied. “One of those Christians. Those liars.”

His hands grew more claw-like as he got closer. Sophia gotten no choice but to attack back, but she needs to be careful. She wriggled her arms to attempt to break free, making Bendy laugh. Her vision was blurring more from the wounds getting covered with the ink, the chemical poisoning her slowly.

“Wriggle all you want,” Bendy said. “You won’t break free.”

Sophia just kept wriggling.

“Hehehe... jeez. You Christians are always saying that you’re so loving, but instead, you spread hate. And now that you see a demon, you see that all you’ve done is create more Hell. Now. I’m gonna send them a message.”

His claws were razor sharp now.

Sophia kept wriggling.

Bendy just kept laughing and laughing as he got closer and closer.

Until...

Sophia shouted loudly and...

In her hands, held a sword forged by light. And she thrusted it forward and...

Bendy stopped with a gasp. Sophia opened her eyes and saw...

That she stabbed Bendy. Right in the heart...

“Oh... my god..,” Sophia mumbled.

“You..,” Bendy growled. “You...”

He paused for a quick second before he gasped.

“S-Sophia?”

Sophia just stared at him with horror and tears in her eyes. She let go of the sword and the sword vanished, making Bendy yelp. The ink tentacles then collapsed into ink puddles as Bendy fell to the ground.

Sophia went down to Bendy, enduring the wounds that still bled.

“Bendy!” she said.

Bendy was coughing now as the ink melted on him and he returned to his toon form. He was coughing violently and Sophia gently picked him up, ignoring the pain in her wounds.

“Bendy,” she said.

Bendy didn’t say anything as he looked up to Sophia, his sister. Then at the bleeding wounds. The wounds he left. He felt tears rise in his eyes.

“Sophia,” he whimpered. “S-Sis... The wounds.... I... I’m sorry... I’m sorry I hurt you... I... just... I...”

“Shhhh,” Sophia shushed. “It’s fine. It’s fine! I’m fine.”

“But you’re not!” Bendy replied, weakly. “I... hurt you... blindly... and... you... hurt me.... and... and you’re... gonna die... because of me!”

“It’s fine..,” Sophia whimpered. “I told you... pain doesn’t stop me from loving you... even if I do die. So, I forgive you. I forgive you, Bendy. I really do.”

“Do you... really mean that?” Bendy asked.

“Of course,” Sophia replied. “You’re one of the best bros I could ever ask for. How can a huge wound erase all that love?”

Bendy smiled before he coughed again and ink trickled down his mouth. Sophia’s eyes traced down to the stab wound she gave, making her gasp. Seeing it made guilt grow in her soul.

“Oh my god,” Sophia said quietly, her tears becoming more heavy to hold, causing them to flow out. “Bendy...! The wound!”

Bendy was confused for a second before he realized why she started acting up. The stab wound. He placed a hand on his large laceration, before he closed his eyes and smiled. Then he opened his eyes and looked up to his sister. Tears were streaming down her face. Many than all the other times she has cried.

“Bendy,” Sophia said, “I-I’m sorry! I’m so sorry! I... I just had to... I just...!”

“Shhh..,” Bendy replied, placing a hand onto the girl’s cheek, wiping away a tear. “It’s fine, sis... I’m... fine... I understand why... you had to do this...”

“But I could’ve done something else!” Sophia replied. “Something smarter! I could’ve... I...”

Sophia shut her eyes tightly as more tears flowed out. She hung her head low as the tears fell on Bendy’s wound that she herself has left. She held back a sob, not wanting to cry in public and in front of her toon demon brother.

Seeing her so broken made Bendy’s heart break. To ease her soul, he just used much of his strength to lean in and gently kiss her wet cheek.

“Don’t... cry..,” Bendy said. Tears were in his eyes. “I don’t like it... when I see you crying...”

“Dumbass,” Sophia mumbled. “You’re hurt! About to die! How do you expect me to not cry?”

“I know... It’s just that... I hate seeing you... or anyone I love... crying... You’re too... cute... for tears...”

Sophia sniffed and whimpered. To comfort her more, Bendy just nuzzled her in the most brotherly way possible. Him doing so brought a bit of comfort to the teenage girl.

“I... hate... seeing you cry... because... I love you, sis... and I... always will... I want you to smile more often... Get rid of that depressed side of yours... Stop hurting yourself... And... now... that you’ve killed me to protect you... and I know why you had to... I... know... you might... hurt yourself... You shouldn’t... hurt yourself... because... everything... will... be... fine... You had... a reason... And... I’m not gonna leave you... ever... and... I still love you... even if you.... hurt me. Pain... can never... stop me... from loving you...’ That’s... what you... said... A silly... stab wound... can’t.... stop me... from loving... the best... sister... I could ever... ask for... Even if... she is... the one... who... did it...”

Sophia just sniffed, her vision blurring more. She placed her hand on Bendy’s as she released a quiet sob. She tightened her grip on his hand softly, and Bendy squeezed it back softly.

Then Sophia felt Bendy’s hand slowly growing weak and as she softened her grip, she felt the toon demon’s hand slowly sliding off her cheek and hand. Dread filled her up slowly as it went.

“Bro,” she said.

“I love you... sis..,” Bendy said, weakly. “Keep smiling... and living... for me... Okay...?”

Bendy used the last of his strength to give his sister figure one last kiss on the cheek before his hand slipped off her cheek and hand. Then, it fell limp. Bendy’s pie cut eyes slowly closed and he released his last breath. And now he lays motionless in the human girl’s arms. He looked like he was sleeping peacefully, but at the same time, he wasn’t.

Sophia gasped and felt more tears slide down.

“No..,” she said. “No! Bendy! Bendy! Wake up! Wake the hell up now! Please! BENDY!”

Then out of the darkness of night, Sophia felt sharp pain and started to feel even more weak. The stinging pain from the wounds Bendy left was still there, but her chest had more pain. Her vision blurred more and more until.

Everything went black.

All she heard was her name being shouted by Cuphead.
————
Sophia opened her eyes and saw a light. She groaned and tried to sit up, but she felt to weak.

“What happened?” she asked, quietly.

She laid her head down on the pillow, right at the time all the memories came back.

The attack, the fight, the battle. The stab!

And Bendy dying in her arms.

She felt tears fill her eyes and slide down her face. She raised a hand to cover her mouth and then it moved to cover her face, her other hand helping to cover it all, under her glasses.

Then Sophia released a sob.

She couldn’t believe it. She killed Bendy! Her demon brother figure! She committed a murder!

What has she done!

What have I done?! she thought as she sobbed.

The sorrow soon began to grow inside her. Guilt, regret, and anger at herself rose with it and it all erupted through her tears.
------
Somewhere in the city, a girl smiled.

“So... She finally did it...”
