(minutes went by after they arrived to the Hospital. Evelyn, Alexis and Gloria had their wounds treated, and will take time to heal. Bendy also went to see how Cuphead was doing.)

Cuphead: (turns to see Bendy, and waves at him with a weak smile) ...H-Hey, Bends... you finally came back to yourself...

Bendy: C-Cups...

Cuphead: I was beginning to think there was no way to get you over that stuff everyone...and I put you through.

Mugman: BENDY!!! (Runs over and Hugs Bendy tight)

Bendy: Huh? *gets glomped by Mugman* WHOA!

Mugman: You Idiot!! You scared me to death!! I'm so glad to see you back again!! >,A,<

Bendy: *he only hugs him back slowly, stopping his eyes from watering*

Boris and Alice were also there, and joined in to hug the little demon, relieved to see him okay

Alice: You're okay!

Boris: Thank Goodness you're back!

Bendy: *hides his face within the hug*

(Cuphead couldn't help but smile at the sight of Bendy well.)

Boris: What happened? how did you manage to snap out of that state?

(that was when Bendy looked down, remembering himself slashing Sophie the way he slashed his human sister, and running his claws through her chest.)

Bendy: I... *falls silent*

Alice: (spots the tears forming in the little toon's eyes)

Cuphead: (concerned) Bendy?

Bendy: I... All I can say is... I did it again...

(The realization hit the four toons)

Mugman: Did you...

Alice: No...

Mugman: You....wounded her...didn't you?

Bendy: *sniffles and nods*

(they knew that the same night repeated itself again...and this time, he did it...to his lover)

Bendy: I made tonight like... that night... only worse... I hurt many people. Some were even killed... And some of the victims were Sophia’s two friends...
And Sophie 2#'s Sister, Gloria...and just when I struck these three, and I laughed so wickedly...I...I was...

(he remembers how Sophie landed a powerful punch to the face of the Ink Demon despite bleeding from her wounds and his claws through her chest. the force of her hit was enough to make him snap out of that state. Bendy could still remember how powerful her punch was, as he held onto the cheek she hit him.)

Bendy: *sniffles* I finally snapped out of it... when Sophie #2 punched me in the face...But when I did, S-She was...I.... (Looks at his quivering hand, remembering the stains of Sophie's blood on it)  I saw the same exact wounds that I left on Sophia’s body. And I stabbed my claws into her chest... I... I...  *covered his eyes as his tears start to fall* I did it again... *sniff* I can’t believe I did it again... *sobs*

Alice: ...Oh, Bendy...

Bendy: I never wanted this to happen! *sobs* But I... *hic* I wanted it to happen... *sniff* but in the end, this is what I got! *sobbing*

(Cuphead saw the sorrows in the toon devil, and he procceeds to hug him)

Bendy: *gasps at that move*

Cuphead: I know you regret now what you did...to our sister...and to your girl. she never left your side, even if I...and maybe even you told her she should.

Bendy: *slowly turns around to face Cuphead, the tears still streaming down his face*

Cuphead: If I ever knew that all the times I rubbed salt in your wounds, told you so many hurtful words, that all this would result in what just happened tonight, to Sophie 2# and many others...I never would've done so. I should have just given you a hug when Sophie 1# died. its my fault you've become something you're not. then Sophie 2# would've never ended up in the same way she did

Bendy: *he listened to him*

Cuphead: I hurt her too...for shielding the demon that killed our sister figure from me... to the point she may not trust me anymore. we're both to blame for what happened...to Sophie 2#, for letting our sorrows blind us to all reason, and turn us into monsters...

Bendy: ....

Cuphead: and...and...if anyone was going to die tonight...it should be me...

Bendy: *looks up* W-What?

Cuphead: I deserve to die...for all the things I've done to you, to your girl and everyone else... I'm the one worthy of a death sentence. not her...not you...not anyone else.

Bendy: Cuphead, no. You don’t deserve to die!

Cuphead: Bendy, you know what I've done...You know what I've become.

Bendy: I know. But that doesn’t mean you deserve to die.  It’s true. You did hurt me... many times. Make me feel even more lower when I’m already at my lowest. But even though you hurt me, that doesn’t mean you deserve to die.

Cuphead: (feeling his eyes well up with tears) W-Why would you s-say that...?

Bendy: Because I knew you were suffering. Like me. I pushed everyone who tried to comfort me away. I don’t know about you, but you seem to do the same thing. And I even attacked the people I love and care about. I attacked innocent people. So. We’re both guilty of letting our own sorrows blind us to the point we turned into soulless creatures...

Bendy: so much to the point...we hurt those we cared about the most...! what Evelyn said was true...this isn't what Sophie 1# wanted...!
This isn’t... *shakes a bit as he could feel the tears coming up again* This isn’t what... our sister... would’ve wanted...
My girl got hurt because of me the same way she got hurt...! its all my fault...!! if...if s-she dies, I....I-I...

Cuphead: *he felt his own tears slip out* B-Bendy...

Bendy: I’ll never forgive myself! For hurting our sister! For pushing and hurting everyone. For reliving the death of Sophia again! *sobs*
S-She is all I have l-left! and I hurt her so much it led to this! What will she think of me now?! what if she'll never forgive me?! what if she doesn't love me anymore?!

Cuphead: *he goes and pulls Bendy into a hug*

(Bendy hugs Cuphead back and cried onto his shoulder. he was so afraid now...that his darling will die the same way their sister figure died. he let his own tears slip out as he let Bendy cry into his shoulder for the first time in forever. Cuphead knew Bendy would be devastated beyond imagining when Sophie 2# dies of her injuries he blindly inflicted on her.
he knew one Sophia dead is enough pain he can handle. But when the second Sophie dies, it’s all over. Bendy would totally lose it, the last remaining hope he had left will die with her. and Cuphead knew that, so he did what he should’ve done a long time ago and during his and Bendy’s time of grief and sadness. Hug him and comfort him as he cried. Mugman, Boris and Alice formed a group hug to comfort the little devil darling in his dark hour.)

(later on, the 5 toons walked to the room where Sophie 2# was laying. she laid on the same bed Sophie 1# was in her final moments. Bendy walked over to the motionless Sophie 2#, who was now strapped with cords and wires, and her heart monitor beeping. he stared at the motionless form of the Lythian Knight, the guilt grew in him...all the times he pushed her away, all the times he avoided contact with her, and now this... he had so much he wanted to tell her. he won't lie to himself anymore. he won't hold anything back anymore. he felt the tears fill his eyes and flow out. as he knew she was just a few seconds away from death )

Cuphead: *felt a flashback of that night. Her motionless body, the poor girl all strapped with cords and wires. The heart monitor going into a straight line when Sophia was on that bed and nurses rushing in to save her. He looked away and shut his eyes tight*

Bendy: Sophie...

(Sophie's eyes open slowly, and she gazes at Bendy)

Sophie: ....

(Sophie had a look of confusion and sadness in her eyes)

Sophie: Bendy... I-

(Bendy placed a finger on her lips, shushing her, gently)

Bendy: Don’t... You’ll hurt yourself more...

(Sophie remained silent but still gazed at him)

Bendy: Sophie... I... *falls silent*

(Sophie slowly grabs his hand, as if she wants to hear what he wants to say. Bendy looks down at the hand before looking at her)

Bendy: *deep breath* Sophie... I’m... I’m sorry...

Sophie: ....

Bendy: I... I was so heartbroken over Sophia... or Sophie #1’s death, it made me blind and it killed me inside... Even though I can see and still breathe... Every reminder I see, it brought back happy memories... all the memories of her... until it... it... *tears heavily flowed from his eyes as the night of the teen girl’s fall on the dock was recalled* It brings me into that night and her angry spirit taunting me for killing her.... *hic*

(she keeps listening)

Bendy: *hic* After the word got out, I was reminded of what I have done... what my crime led to... one of them being Cuphead hating on me... and her biological family having only one child to care for! *hic* And anytime I’m alone, I wish she was here. To be the best friend I knew and love! A sister that I loved and cared! *sniff, whimper* I was so lonely... and no one understood how I felt!  *sniff* And because no one knew what it was like to kill someone you love in a blind rage, I thought everyone who was trying to help me just pitied me... *hic* I didn’t want their pity... *sniff* And there were even times when reminders that are living come by. Living reminders make me relive the pain all over again! Relive the Hell that I created!   I was jealous of the happiness of every group of best friends or the happiness made between a sibling and their younger sibling! You’re one of the biggest reminder of her, even though you’re so different... Cuphead was another big one as well...

(Sophie looked down, tears filling her eyes when she heard that)

Bendy: *sniff* Every reminder, especially big ones, kept torturing me with all the memories of her... especially that night... *hic* I pushed you away because of that... I pushed everyone else away because of the same reason, including her two friends!

Sophie: then...if I'm a big reminder to you... (looks away sadly) why....why did you come here....?

Bendy: *sniff, hic* Because I see now that all my attempts to end the pain only causes more! And seeing that I hurt you, the girl that I love in a blind rage! Just like that night at the docks! *sniff, whimper* I see that I have failed everyone! I became a soulless monster inside and out! I repeated the same night! *sobs* I never wanted to hurt anyone! I only wanted this pain to end! To end the pain of hurting my sister to the point she doesn’t breathe anymore! The pain of being the cause of her and everyone’s suffering! *sobs*

(Sophie turns her gaze back at Bendy, she thought and believed he hated her now. but it appears she might be proven wrong.)

Bendy:  But I should know by now.... *hic* That reminders... no matter where I go... *sniff* They’re always going to be there!  I just miss her so much! *sniff* I just want my sister back! *sobs* This hurts so much... Being the cause of her death was the most painful thing I felt! *hic* It still hurts now. I still wish she was here even now! I miss her so much. *sobs* I can’t get away from them! Killing them or even wishing they would go away wouldn’t be enough! It’s not even gonna end the pain of losing a sister by your own hands! No matter what I do to get away from anything that reminds me of her, the pain never goes away. And I end up needing people I care about and love!  I know what I did was wrong.... but I was so devastated over Sophia’s death I.... I’m so sorry... f-for everything...!!

(Bendy sobs heavily. after avoiding her, pushing her away, hurting her emotionally, and trying to kill her just now, he really felt like she hated him as result of shattering her heart and everything he did to her during his time of grief until now.  he felt like she’ll never forgive him.)

(Sophie weakly moves her hand and places it on his cheek)

Bendy:  H-Huh...?

Sophie: I'm glad...you told me everything... even in my final moments, I'd never...not even once consider myself hating you for what you did... (tries to remain conscious as she feels her glimmer starting to go out)

Bendy: S-Sophie...?

Sophie: Damn...I guess this is the End of me too...!

Bendy: N-No!! I can’t bear to lose another Sophie from my own hands... *sniff* What I’m going through is enough! I don’t want this Hell to continue! *hic, sniff* I’m already in pain.I don’t want it to continue anymore. It already hurts so much... *sniff, hic, places both hands on her cheeks* Sophie...  I....I n-need you... You're all I-I have l-left...*sniff* P-Please...*his forehead touches hers as he shuts his eyes tight, letting more tears escape* d-don’t l-leave m-me...!

Sophie: I'm...sorry I didn't do enough...to help you in your grief...

(Sophie gently caressed his cheek, as she felt her own tears slip out... Bendy places a gentle kiss on her right cheek, to let her now he still loved her, and he was sorry for hurting her all this time.)

Sophie: Bendy.... (places her hand around Bendy's head) I l-love you....

Bendy: S-Sophie! *sniff* Please, no! *sobs*

(Bendy wa sobbing as he heard the sound of the heart monitor, he was holding onto her, screaming in his mind for Sophie not to die on him. but then....the dreaded sound of the heart monitor flatline was heard...)

Sophie: (her eyes go pale and lifeless as result of her glimmer finally going out) I'm....sorry....

(once her eyes become pale and lifeless, they close...and the dreaded sound of the heart monitor's flat line is heard, Bendy gasps and looks up and sees the straight line)

Bendy: No...No!

(this couldn't...this couldn't be true...! she's not...! no, no, no!
he gazes back at his darling who remained still but... she wasn't breathing anymore. and the hand that was on Bendy's head dropped to the bed sheets next to Sophie.)

Bendy: *more tears filled his eyes* No. No!!! NO!!! NO! Sophie! YOU CAN’T BE DEAD!!! YOU JUST CAN’T!!!

(Alice places her hands on her mouth feeling her tears starting to go down her face
Boris' ears drooped as he lets out a sad whine, feeling his own tears coming up)

Bendy: WAKE UP! WAKE UP! I CAN’T TAKE LOSING ANOTHER SOPHIE WHO GOT HURT BECAUSE OF ME!!! WAKE UP! *sobs heavily, burying his face onto her neck*  SOPHIE!!! PLEASE!!! DON’T DIE ON ME!!! PLEASE! *hugs her still body, wailing and sobbing loudly* Please! I love you!!

Mugman: B-Bendy... *Sniffs*

(Cuphead felt his own tears running down his face, he walks over to the demon and climbs on top of the bed. and saw how Bendy latched on to the Lythian's lifeless body, refusing to let go of her.)

Cuphead: *he remembered him begging Sophie #1 the same way*

*Flashback*

Cuphead: Sophia? SOPHIA?! NO! NOOO!!! YOU CANT BE DEAD!!! DONT DIE ON US!!! DONT DIE ON ME!!!

*But Sophie 1# was dead, and Cuphead hugged her still body, crying on her.*

Cuphead: No, sis! Please! PLEASE! *sobs as he held her cold body*

Mugman: *he was sobbing as his face was covered by his hands*

*the flashback ends, and Cuphead still sees Bendy crying on Sophie 2#. he was shaking as he felt those signs of anxiety run in him, staring at Bendy as he held the body of his lover tightly. It’s another reminder! Mugman took notice of his brother having tears running down his face, and starting to breathe heavily. indicating he was having a panic attack. so he ran up to him and hug him.*

(Bendy was beyond devastated now, as he cried onto the body of his darling)

Bendy: I Don't want to be alone anymore!! P-Please...!! Come Back!! COME BACK TO ME!!!

Cuphead: *he watched as Bendy sobbed like a child as he held his darling. He reached out, but pulled his hand back, thinking Bendy doesn’t need it right now*

(Bendy had to watch his lover die on him. the same way Cuphead had to watch their sister figure die in the same manner. the little demon kept holding unto her tightly, crying hard like a child.)

Bendy: SOPHIEEEEEEE!!!!

Cuphead: *he only looked down and closed his eyes, tears still streaming down his face, listening to Bendy's crying over Sophie's death*

(Alice looked down, sniffling as she tries to wipe away her tears. Boris was already crying.
all hope seemed lost....

until....

beeps were heard, coming from the heart monitor.)

(Bendy sobs heavily. after avoiding her, pushing her away, hurting her emotionally, and trying to kill her just now, he really felt like she hated him as result of shattering her heart and everything he did to her during his time of grief until now.  he felt like she’ll never forgive him.)

(Sophie weakly moves her hand and places it on his cheek)

Bendy:  H-Huh...?

Sophie: I'm glad...you told me everything... even in my final moments, I'd never...not even once consider myself hating you for what you did... (tries to remain conscious as she feels her glimmer starting to go out)

Bendy: S-Sophie...?

Sophie: Damn...I guess this is the End of me too...!

Bendy: N-No!! I can’t bear to lose another Sophie from my own hands... *sniff* What I’m going through is enough! I don’t want this Hell to continue! *hic, sniff* I’m already in pain.I don’t want it to continue anymore. It already hurts so much... *sniff, hic, places both hands on her cheeks* Sophie...  I....I n-need you... You're all I-I have l-left...*sniff* P-Please...*his forehead touches hers as he shuts his eyes tight, letting more tears escape* d-don’t l-leave m-me...!

Sophie: I'm...sorry I didn't do enough...to help you in your grief...

(Sophie gently caressed his cheek, as she felt her own tears slip out... Bendy places a gentle kiss on her right cheek, to let her now he still loved her, and he was sorry for hurting her all this time.)

Sophie: Bendy.... (places her hand around Bendy's head) I l-love you....

Bendy: S-Sophie! *sniff* Please, no! *sobs*

(Bendy wa sobbing as he heard the sound of the heart monitor, he was holding onto her, screaming in his mind for Sophie not to die on him. but then....the dreaded sound of the heart monitor flatline was heard...)

Sophie: (her eyes go pale and lifeless as result of her glimmer finally going out) I'm....sorry....

(once her eyes become pale and lifeless, they close...and the dreaded sound of the heart monitor's flat line is heard, Bendy gasps and looks up and sees the straight line)

Bendy: No...No!

(this couldn't...this couldn't be true...! she's not...! no, no, no!
he gazes back at his darling who remained still but... she wasn't breathing anymore. and the hand that was on Bendy's head dropped to the bed sheets next to Sophie.)

Bendy: *more tears filled his eyes* No. No!!! NO!!! NO! Sophie! YOU CAN’T BE DEAD!!! YOU JUST CAN’T!!!

(Alice places her hands on her mouth feeling her tears starting to go down her face
Boris' ears drooped as he lets out a sad whine, feeling his own tears coming up)

Bendy: WAKE UP! WAKE UP! I CAN’T TAKE LOSING ANOTHER SOPHIE WHO GOT HURT BECAUSE OF ME!!! WAKE UP! *sobs heavily, burying his face onto her neck*  SOPHIE!!! PLEASE!!! DON’T DIE ON ME!!! PLEASE! *hugs her still body, wailing and sobbing loudly* Please! I love you!!

Mugman: B-Bendy... *Sniffs*

(Cuphead felt his own tears running down his face, he walks over to the demon and climbs on top of the bed. and saw how Bendy latched on to the Lythian's lifeless body, refusing to let go of her.)

Cuphead: *he remembered him begging Sophie #1 the same way*

*Flashback*

Cuphead: Sophia? SOPHIA?! NO! NOOO!!! YOU CANT BE DEAD!!! DONT DIE ON US!!! DONT DIE ON ME!!!

*But Sophie 1# was dead, and Cuphead hugged her still body, crying on her.*

Cuphead: No, sis! Please! PLEASE! *sobs as he held her cold body*

Mugman: *he was sobbing as his face was covered by his hands*

*the flashback ends, and Cuphead still sees Bendy crying on Sophie 2#. he was shaking as he felt those signs of anxiety run in him, staring at Bendy as he held the body of his lover tightly. It’s another reminder! Mugman took notice of his brother having tears running down his face, and starting to breathe heavily. indicating he was having a panic attack. so he ran up to him and hug him.*

(Bendy was beyond devastated now, as he cried onto the body of his darling)

Bendy: I Don't want to be alone anymore!! P-Please...!! Come Back!! COME BACK TO ME!!!

Cuphead: *he watched as Bendy sobbed like a child as he held his darling. He reached out, but pulled his hand back, thinking Bendy doesn’t need it right now*

(Bendy had to watch his lover die on him. the same way Cuphead had to watch their sister figure die in the same manner. the little demon kept holding unto her tightly, crying hard like a child.)

Bendy: SOPHIEEEEEEE!!!!

Cuphead: *he only looked down and closed his eyes, tears still streaming down his face, listening to Bendy's crying over Sophie's death*

(Alice looked down, sniffling as she tries to wipe away her tears. Boris was already crying.
all hope seemed lost....

until....

beeps were heard, coming from the heart monitor.)
