If you saw the first pic on my Instagram, then apparently, I confess, I looked at more references and now added more to Darya's (re)design. Might repost.I decided to draw my Atlantic bottlenose dolphin OC because why not? And ever since I started looking at cetaceans more often, I began to look closer. And as a result, I spotted some things about the bottlenose dolphin. They have facial markings and many more markings that I have missed for so long! And I decided to apply them to my girl, Darya. And let me tell ya, it was T O U G H ! ! ! Because in every pic and video I looked that had bottlenose dolphins, the markings almost looked invisible! But I managed to get it!
And I am honestly kinda proud of it!
I also did this pic as a way to practice on drawing those facial markings, so yeah! And I like the result so far. Just wish me luck trying to draw the other bottlenose dolphin species since I plan to make them have distinct looks.
