I remember watching this show and it's an interesting documentary about possible future ecosystems with new kinds of fauna descended from current and adaptable animals of today that fill the niches of other animals in the current era that were too specialized or couldn't keep up with the changing ecosystems and gone extinct.

Well, this would be an interesting way for Beast Boy to use those animals alongside his fellow Titans. Thing is, from what I remember of all the episodes in the 5 million, 100 million, and 200 million years time, most of the animals in the show aren't really fit for direct combat, especially against villains that give Beast Boy and his fellow Titans a run for their money. Heck, the only animals from The Future is Wild that are fit for combat are the Snowstalker (Wolverine descendant), Carakiller (Caracara descendant), possibly the Rattleback (rodent descendant) but more fit for defense, possibly the Toraton (Tortoise descendant), Swampus (octopus descendant), Lurkfish (catfish descendant) which uses an electrical shock ability similar to an electric eel, Rainbow Squid (Giant squid descendant), Sharkopath (Shark descendants), and possibly the Megasquid (another squid descendant). The rest are likely only used for specialized purposes or in certain environments to make it easier for Beast Boy to travel, while the smaller and more agile animals are used for maneuverability and evasion, and the aquatic variants to swim through water environments and flying based animals to fly.

He pretty much could, I mean he can turn into alien even demonic animals, as he tunes into the ecosystem of his environment.
