It kinda has a Laff-A-Lympics vibe in that sense, but it'd still be exciting!

Courage certainly has made plenty of friends that would've likely come to help him if he were able.
Hell if Eustace could get ahold of old villains inexplicable, then I'm sure Courage could have somehow contacted his old friends. ^^

That would've been nice. The Duck Brothers did appear as the halftime in the episode. Not sure why, but mostly out of fanservice to see returning characters.
It would've been extra fanservice if Courage's friends appear, but then they detract too much attention from Courage being able to stand up for himself against Eustace's lowest point of morality.

I wouldn't be so sure about that those bad guys didn't really play by the rules during the Dodgedball fight and Last Time I check, only Big Foot, The Teddy Bears, and some extent the duck brothers know how to fight.

I wonder how the villians would fair against Alien Ducks, Teddy Bear terrorists, a Cat and Bunny lesbian couple, a monkey who has hair everywhere except the part where it needs it the most, and an ugly mofo. Clearly the best team against these bad guys.

Yeah. I remember Ball of Revenge... was kinda one of the most controversial episodes where Eustace was at his absolute worst in treating Courage and Muriel by gathering nearly all of Courage's rogues gallery and teaming up on him while also holding Muriel hostage... and ruining Muriel's laundry.
If these guys that are Courage's friends were on Courage's team, the episode would've been more fair and Courage wouldn't be beaten and ganged up as easily. Though, I'll say the episode ends the same way with Courage unleashing his scream to end all screams that sends his enemies falling down the giant crevice.

If this did happen, then the episode would've been much better, and Courage would've never have to face them on his own.
