-Akira and Simmons would form a strong friendship due to having something in common. Both have demonic power, both are pawns of the Devil, and both have love interests. (Miki and Wanda respectively)
-The setting would constantly switch between Tokyo and New York.
-Malebolgia would be the main antagonist.
-There would be humorous banter between Psycho Jenny and the Violator.
-Jason Wynn would be the one to have Miki brutally murdered. Likely out of newfound hatred towards Devilman.
-If the above wasn't bad enough, Miki ends up under Malebolgia's possession where she is relentlessly tormented by the Violator's brothers in Hell.
-The world doesn't end. One main reason being the Mother of Existence.

IfΒ Jason Wynn do that and both Devilman and Spawn discover it, i don't think he isn't going to live for much longer.
Either he is going to be slaughter by a bloodlusted Devilman (considering his reaction in canon) or killed by a beyond piss off Spawn (considering how much he hate him already, this would be his last straw).
Also, what would be likeΒ Satan/Ryo in this crossover? Since Satan from Spawn is not the same person from Devilman.

But isn't Satan another name for Lucifer? Even that, the Devil in both series is called Satan.
Still, what do you think it would be his relationship with Satan, is he loyal to him or he hate him like God? And what about Spawn?

Personally i think he wouldΒ loath both God and Satan.
He would see them as cruel begins that use both angels (his old friends and companions) and demons (he creatures he want to save) for their own self gain.
I could see trick both Devilman, Spawn and other begins to bring the apocalypse/armageddon at his own terms and try to convince God and Satan's armies to revolt to their creators.

A crossover (official or fanmade) between Devilman and Spawn would be cool as hell, this is one of the few cases where the themes and universes of the series trully fit each other without causing problems (not many could say the same).
I would be quite curious what kind or relationship Simmons and Akira would had, both have lost for protect humanity (no matter how many times it had show it most dark and disgusting aspects), they would most likely understand each other.

And deal with the crazed humans hunting for demons (good or evil) and anyone they believe are demons or allied with them (like Akira's friends, especially Miki).
Interestingly, God in the pre-reboot Spawn universe was as much an asshole as God in the Devilman universe.
