A redone version of Starry Skies. with planets. and less sparkleage. yeah.AND I DID IT ON BRISTOL THIS TIME. YES.
Every cloud has a silver lining? well how many wolves have one? let me tell you: ONLY THIS ONE.
yes I outlined him (her? it?) in silver. since I still wanted to use the dang silver pen after I was done with the stars.
it's not as smooth as I would have liked it to be, really. I messed up the colors since I changed my coloring style since Turkey and I started with Ultramarine. big mistake. ffff. this character ONLY works well with this particular coloring style it seems. the poor tail... but I'm somewhat happy with it.
and it looks like it's crapping suns. planets come out of its feet and its mane shakes out stars. when she's done she doubles back and checks on his/her/its "babies" to make sure it was done right.
Why is half of it empty? look at the title. Space is endless, she hasn't gotten there yet.

I really like this one. In looking back from your earlier posted works to these, there's a marked growth in both your skill and your creative eye. I love this idea of the birthing of the universes. I want to send you a picture of a gourd I did about 3 years ago that I'd like your comments on in relation to your piece. Similar, yet different.
Your colors really help your wolf to pop from the deep background of space. Very vivid and striking. Whadaya mean, "poor tail"?! Looks great to me!

aw thanks! yeah it was a concept I had in my mind while I was in Turkey, but then it kept coming back so I keep drawing it. I'm glad I'm improving!

I just used a different coloring technique on the tail that doesn't make it as shiny looking as the rest of it. it made me sad

Well, that lack of sheen on the tail didn't jump out at me and I probably wouldn't have caught it without you specifically pointing it out. Comes back to what I said about us each being our own hardest critics -- right??
