Really late answer (sorry!) but to achieve effects like this, you have to use a program called MME (I'm not sure how to properly add it myself, rippp) or just good ol' Photoshop/some other software.

Just an update -- success on porting finally coming along! I've ported the cave wall, cave floor, (the big) pillars, and the ivy. I've also applied some slightly different textures that I've painted myself, if that's alright.
Would you happen to have an MMD file for just the small broken pillar?
