Description This is my current desktop after a few weeks after the last time my laptop died. And in a few more weeks, it'll have changed again, because I'm getting a new laptop from my new college! Yay! Remind me to find a large, heavy sledge hammer when that day arrives.

My current desktop is one that I found on [link] , and I loved it. Godot FTW!!! If you have no idea who he is, I COMMAND YOU TO PLAY "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations" NOW.

So yeah, now to explain what all those icons are that aren't blatantly obvious. I'll be going top to bottom, left to right.

Ad-Aware 2007/Ad-Watch 2007 - These icons are for the newest free version of Ad-Aware, which is a program that removes spyware and other non-virus crap that messes up your computer or steals your information. Ad-Aware is quite awesome, I HIGHLY recommend it if you don't already have it. Just Google "ad-aware" and it should pop up.

AVG 7.5 - A free virus blocker/scanner. It takes a while for it to scan, but I suppose that just means it's very thorough. I recommend it if you're like me and don't wanna pay for Norton.

Hamachi - It's kinda hard to explain, but this thing basically sets up a "fake" network that allows you to connect to other people over the internet. It basically gives you another IP address, and it lets you use certain programs even if you have a router that would normally screw them up. I use it in conjunction with YVD (which I'll explain later) because we DO have a router, and it DOES screw YVD up.

RONIN - A program that downloads all the rulings from Netrep.net, a site that has all the texts and individual card rulings for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, and let's you look through them even if you're not connected to the internet. Very useful.

SharpDevelop 2.2 - According to , it's supposed to let you code in Visual Basic 6.0, it takes up a LOT less room. And I mean a f***ing lot less. I haven't actually used it yet, though.

Winamp - Best. Music player. Ever. That is all.

BYOND/Dream Maker/Duel Monsters Advanced - The first two icons are from a downloadable game package called BYOND. It's basically a kit where you can either build your own game, or download other's games and play them. A lot of those games are online multiplayer, so they're a lot of fun, even if the graphics aren't 3D. The Duel Monsters Advanced icon is a log of a game I play called DMA 'R', a Yu-Gi-Oh! online game. If you play it, or want to play it, give me a shout! My name's Mhoram Enihsam in the game.

Crimson Editor - A text editing program that has the syntax for several programming languages built it (PHP, Perl, etc.), and has color-coded schemes for each one. Much better than using Notepad, and it's free!

Limewire 4.14.10 - I'm sure most people know what Limewire is, but for those who don't it's a file downloading program where you can download files from other computers. No, not any files, they have to be put in a specific "Shared" folder.

MapleStory - It's supposed to be a popular online game, but I haven't tried it out yet. It's free, though, but it's very large and takes a while to install.

Shortcut to YGO Virtual Desktop - This is the YVD I mentioned earlier. It's a Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG-based program that lets you build decks and duel other people over the internet. The problem is, you need to exchange IP addresses in order to connect and duel, which can be a bit risky. Also, if you're like me and have a router, you might not be able to connect at all unless you use a program like Hamachi, which fools the computer into thinking you have a direct network connection with the other person.

Stepmania CVS 4.0 - Stepmania is the computer version of DDR. It's very fun, and you can download a bunch of stuff for it, like note sets, announcers, etc., and obviously there's tons of songs available to download.
