This list is in no particular order; I just want to share my opinion on characters I think are over-hated. (some of this comes from watching Watchmojo videos)

The Great Gazoo (The Flintstones): This little green man may be a jerk, but I think he's very adorable and I think that the late Harvey Korman did a great job voicing him.
Ariel (The Little Mermaid): I may find her facial features to be just eye-candy, but deep down inside, Ariel is a dreamer, and yes, she does have flaws. Sure, she makes a bad decision by sacrificing her voice to Ursula for a pair of legs, but she eventually learns her lesson.
Helga Petaki (Hey Arnold!): She may have hard feelings against Arnold on the outside, but Helga only bullies him because she loves him and is too afraid to admit it. Maybe it also comes from her dysfunctional family, too?
Meg Griffin (Family Guy): She already has enough hate from her family! She needs more respect and people to care about her.
Scrappy-Doo (Scooby-Doo Franchise): When I saw a few episodes with him, I thought he was kinda funny and cute; nowadays, I'm disappointed that he gets too much hate.
Thumbelina: She was a major part of my childhood growing up! I don't think she's whiny or annoying at all; I just wish that she spent maybe a little more time with Prince Cornelius before they got separated. (but then it would ruin the whole movie)
Squidward (SpongeBob): This guy's my favorite character! I know he hates SpongeBob and sometimes acts as a jerk, but I can REALLY relate to Squidward; sometimes I get annoyed by the same people, and some days when I work, I know how poor Squidward feels.
Daffy Duck (Looney Tunes): I know that sometimes he can be annoying or a jerk, but Daffy deserves more respect. After all, he gets injured in almost every cartoon he's in!
Dr. Zoidberg (Futurama): I'm back from Watchmojo! Yes, Zoidberg can be gross and overly friendly, but I always thought he was awesome and funny! However, I probably would NOT want him for my doctor or surgeon.
Billy Madison: Adam Sandler wasn't always a bad actor. In fact, Billy Madison is one of my FAVORITE movies - it never fails to crack me up with its humor and running gags!
