Not sure if this was the goal or not, but the darkened colors and the general way you drew the deer is kind of beautifully harrowing? If that makes sense, lol. I'm really impressed at just how real the fur looks; it actually makes me want to touch the screen as if I could feel it. And I REALLY like the way you drew the horns as tree branches; to me, it's sort of a statement about the connection animals have to other forms of nature? Unsure if there was a specific message you were sending, but I honestly feel like this piece could probably be used in some type of "Save the Forest" campaign, haha. Sorry if I wrote too much, I'm just really in love with your work!

This is so amazing, this deer looks so original with all that sketching and textures. how you were even able t manage to give such a furry texture to its neck. Also his eyes are really cute, its like he is watching me. I really like the idea of that falling leaf. Superb work though.

Thank you. The fur texture is just achieved with having the patience to draw the fur, stroke by stroke, alternating pressure and/or softer pencils.

Wow! Such a brilliantly drawn piece of artwork. I love the detail on the fur of the neck and how you've made the antlers look like the trunk of a tree and even given it leaves. It really symbolises thatΒ the deerΒ is the spirit of the forest. The shading is utterly beautiful. It really does look like a real deer. Well done.
