I agree with Kotal been evil. Hes no better that Shao Kahn and notorious backstaber. Heh, he make Tanya look like "Most trustworthy person in all Realms".

Morality really is rather a subjective term. Especially when dealing with different races and alternate realities; what's good and what's not is a matter of perspective, nature and nurture. For example, D'Vorah is quite an evil character the way we see it, but from her own perspective, I'm sure her actions are not evil. They make sense to her and she could probably justify them, whether or not we would accept her reasoning is irrelevant. There is no objective source to anchor morality in. What's "good" to one, can just as easily be concidered "bad" according to another. Only a true objective "knower" could judge the differences. We're simply viewing this from our own perspective, and even that is not something that's written in stone, as we ourselves can very easily contradict eachother and disagree with eachother's opinions. Kotal Kahn is not "Lawful Evil" the way I see it. First of all, we would have to define what "Lawful Evil" really means. "Neutral" means "Neutral", so how are there different types of neutrality? It's either zero, or it's not. Zero plus one, or zero minus one is no longer zero. You could have "Neutral", because of self-serving reasons, or perhaps other reasons. You could have a good character that is only acting in a good way because of selfish reasons, and you have to wonder if those reasons are good or not. So there's intentions, words and actions: this is how we discriminate correctly. Discriminate simply means to distinguish; we all do it, all the time, and we have to, in order to function in the world and to make sense of the world. We're talking about morality here, so intentions, words and actions are what we use in this case. Racism for example, is judging a person's moral character based on the wrong criteria (skincolor, nationality, etc.). Only by knowing an individual's intentions, words and actions can we come to a reasonable judgement, but it's still going to be subjective in the end, so this is actually quite hard to do in the real world. So the classification itself is not that straight forward; many variables come into play here. I would simply maintain a three group system, or possible five groups (nine are too many). If we're going to judge fictional MK characters, and if we agree to use our own sense of morality, then some characters will fall into certain groups, without much discussion being needed. Shinnok obviously isn't a good character. Mileena is questionable: either purely evil, or just off to the evil side of "Neutral" (if using a five groups system). I would put Kotal Kahn in either a "Neutral" position, or perhaps off to the good side of "Neutral", but I'm sure one could reason that he belongs in the evil side (where you put him). It is an interesting topic though.

This was made for their overall personality, not their ending ones.

I agree on all of these (minus Kotal, he's more Neutral than Evil), except I think the quote doesn't suit Erron Black's mercenary status (It actually sounds more like Kano, who's definitely Neutral Evil). These two might work better:
(during fight intro with Liu Kang, where Liu questions his loyalty) "I'm... adaptable."
(after first round win) "I'll call it off if you pay me."

Thanks. I didn't know about those lines that Erron had. I'll remember for the MK work.

Kotal Kahn is more of a good guy as he just wants what's best for Outworld and he didn't deliberately attack Earthrealm for no apparent reason, he was misled. He even sought out help from Earthrealm before the events of the game.

Agreed. He's more Lawful Neutral (or rather, Outworld Lawful Neutral).

Kotal is more or less Lawful Neutral. Mileena is lawful evil. The rest is correct.

Well I figured since he only wanted what was best for Outworld (and ONLY Outworld), he'd be more or less considered Lawful Evil.
Mileena only wanted what was supposed to be hers, but only for the sake of ruling.

He did want to try and mend the rather delicate relationship between Earthrealm and Outwrld in the comics with help, though thats not working as D'Vorah and a few others took things the wrong way (Sonya shoots him the second time she saw him without letting him speak first). So Kotal is neutral in that aspect, he wants whats best for his home and was willing to work with his realm's enemy to work towards a common goal.
