Speaking of that Chaos and Raimee picture... I tried coloring it with markers (for a test run) and failed miserably. Not only is my marker selection small, but I completely ruined Chaos's skin! (It's waaaay too dark! ) Plus, shading and reflections are a complete mystery! (needs to read tutorials) Thanks anyways! I want to enter Raimee into Cindre's contest, but that's due in two days and I can't even color her right!

Aww, I'm no good at shading and stuff, so I can't help you there. I think you're supposed to imagine the light source or something...I dunno. Hmm, maybe try pencil crayons? If you mess up, you can usually erase the most obvious bits- I know from experience.

Ooh, I read the contest description- though I'm still not entirely sure what it's for. Hopefully you do finish, 'cause then I can cheer you on.

Didn't make it...but oh well. Check it out in my scraps all the same!

I bought this little wooden manikin (like eight inches tall) from Michaels. Hopefully I can look at light sources with that and get some shading ideas... I've been working on people and I'm excited to test out some stuff I'm learning!

I have this AWESOME scene in my head from a dream (a DP dream...though I don't think I'm going to do a Dream Theme for this...though I do have two other DT chapters I'm working on!). It involves Sam, Maddie, Jazz, and Valerie all looking AMAZING! Let's see if I can draw it though...

Yesh, I need to try new mediums...

Well, the thing is that I have a dream that makes a good amount of sense with a bunch of extra random things added on top of it! Then when I want to write about it, I just take out the randomness, add some small transitions to synthesize all the scenes I remember still and write it out! It's hard sometimes to make sense of it, but usually they're the easiest to write because the actions/dialog are already planned out and the imagery is vivid! (And now you know my whole process... )

Ooh, I want a Tucker shirt! I can just see him saying one of his quotes on it, like about "Foley" or being "Too fine!" Brownies rock. Danny SHOULD be excited! Dark Dan too? Did you therapize him?

Oh yes... I'll have fun experimenting!
