Are these comfortable to walk in? I imagine with how they seem to be "standing" that the sides would rub against your legs and chaff the skin...

I mean they look to have been built from a strong material that would rub against the skin each time the leg moved to walk, rubbing against the skin to eventually bruise/irritating the skin.

As far as I've seen, she builds her hoof boots around regular boots, so the only chaffing that may occur would happen with regular boots anyway.

Is the boot heel retained under the fringe there? If so, best hiding job I've ever seen. It normally looks kind of clunky when people obscure it, but this looks awesome.
Is there any chance you could ever make a pair of boots that are digi hoof boots, but with some kind of snap-on piece to change it to paw toes? I haven't been able to decide which I'd prefer, and it'd be a while before I could have a budget (and find the right base boots) for getting both...

They probably have sufficient enough weight and support in the rest of the shoe to balance the lack of heel.
