Description
more playing around with the new leg design. Figuring out the best way to walk in them (toe heel, toe heel, turns out- looks best, like a runway model) Just showing how they look moving. You can see the little bit of heel in these photos, in theory they could be more hidden with some more fur, but for a prototype they don't bug me enough to bother with it right now.Video has been moved to Tumblr! magpieb0nes.tumblr.com/post/14β¦

On thing could be replacing the heel with clear acrylic block so that they would be less visible

the most elegantly and least bulgy version of faun legs I've ever seen.
Amazing! How far up do they actually go, are those complete pants or just overknee boots?
And do you still make those or have you moved on and developed a different design?

oh goodness, on appearance they look amazing, but incredably uncomfortable

Those are actually stupid-level comfortable. That particular style only requires a few inches of heel (like... 2), wich is hidden by the long fur.

Huh. Well, I suppose that's nice though, that you can still get a "cloppy" sound (is that even a word? X_X) from the heels, even though they are smaller. Cool beans.

A transparent or white heel would work better I guess. But it's already awesome.
A very good idea!

Having taught myself to walk digitigrade without the aid of special shoes or whatever, I can attest that toe-heel, toe-heel, whilst sounding backwards, actually helps to put power to the floor efficiently when walking this way.

A long time ago you gave me the advice to make the back point (hock? dunno) much smaller. And then my fiance said: "If you want to make you legs look thinner, use paint for an illusion and stop trying to kill yourself on your toes." Seeing this, I now know what you both mean. I am so hardheaded sometimes. Thanks for posting this, you sparked a lightbulb
Your work is beautiful and inspiring

Looks like they're easier to walk in then my steel wire leg and toe claw. Kind of reminds me of Balsac the Jaws of Death's legs.

I reaaaaaally like these! Because of the high heel, the movements look much more natural compared to disguised plantigrade legs.

wow these are amazing, probably the best non-stilt digitigrade legs I've seen. most digitigrade paddings I've seen are too bulky or look awkward but these look just right!

I bet if you painted the heel white like the fur it would blend in with it better. All in all though, your animal boots never cease to amaze me, very well done

These are beautiful! Both in design, looks and most of all the way you look when you walk in them. They really are fantastic, they looks very natural in your step, especially when you pointed/wiggled your toes at about 00:30ish in the video.
