You'd think he'd have gotten a fancy medal for such feats from the royal family as proof of his heroics. Than again, these things do tend to be pretty hush-hush most of the time.

You can't really blame them for keeping it quiet; it would be kind of embarrassing for a monarch to admit that, despite having magical powers and numerous knights and all that, the kingdom was saved by a 10-year-old boy with no formal training or experience or qualifications whatsoever.
