Coming from up north (My family's from New Jersey), I know that smelling the snow in the air is indeed a real thing! It's not really a wet smell like rain has. It's more of a...I dunno, it's a smell that's unexplainable. It's a cold scent, I know that. It's sort of a fresh scent, crisp, but it's very subtle.

I was bizarre as a kid; my friend came by once when it had snowed and I told him to give me his coat. I sat there inhaling the smell of his coat. The smell of snow and cold air sticks to clothes and I love it. He laughed about it and just said I was weird lol
