Description
This image and the next few are going to be a series of holiday cards that, being broke, I decided to make for my closest girlfriends. They all apply to the favorite animal of the person they're dedicated to.
I ended up completely neglecting my other projects (3 tattoo designs and a photomanip for xstockx) to make these, so for those of you waiting for me, I deeply apologize for putting you on the back burner! :-/
This one is dedicated to my dearest friend Becky, who moved away a few years back. She works in Raptor rehabilitation, which I deeply respect and envy.
These images are not my best works, but more importantly, they touch on the demeanor and interest of people I deeply care about.

Wow that is amazing! This is one of those I just had to stare at for a while! I do the same thing with cards it means more when you make them personally I think too!

I'm glad you liked it so much! I'm always nervous that the people who I "borrow" stock and brushes from will not like the result.
So thank you very much for the compliments, AND providing such wondering material.
I like adding a personal touch to the things I give to my loved ones...not to mention I'm broke...so this worked out quite well

All five of your holiday set really show a growing uniqueness and continual utilization of your own niche within this art form. Also known as ******* awesome
What's genious about this is the hillside with flowers actually double as the bird wing, which is just too cool for me so I'm going to have to close the window. The light on the bird's pupil was a great touch, and the border is interesting as always. Haven't heard the word Maelstrom in awhile, I probably learned it from you, it's ah good ah worda (sorry, I have to fake the Italian accent everytime I make pasta like tonight

I'm glad you liked it! This is was probably the most sloppily planned and put together out of all of them. I'm actually having a hard time deciding if I want to change it.
But I'm very flattered that you enjoyed them. Thank you!!
And, I break out in an Irish accent all the time...especially when driving or shopping for shampoo. Specifically.
