I drew this little lady a few years ago.It became a fledgling concept for a back-piece tattoo. The rest of this idea is still in the archives of my mind.
The wings got a little cartoony as they came to the outside, but I'm still happy with the general intricacy and contrast.

Beautiful, the window frame is cool and the intricacy in the lower left hand corner in particular is awesome, folded butterflies, this piece is very tactily stimulating as well, with the cold touch of the moon and window, the flimsy touch of the wing like structure, the furry feel implied by the wing spots, and the wing veins which remind me of glass. The way the edges of the wings near the window are lightened really sets them out from the background, perhaps standard I don't know but I would have never thought to do it. nice work.

Thanks! I initially drew this out of boredom...with really no intentions or deep thought going into it. I just found myself with nothing to do, so Id' pick it up and add more to it. haha!
This is/was actually the starting thoughts of my future back-piece being put together.
in the end, the piece will capture where my soul lives.

haha...as soon as I strike oil and make tons of cash and hawk money-loogies at everyone, I'll definitely have some form of that tattooed on my back.
