Not every vocaloid fan has to like Hatsune Miku. I like Hatsune Miku but she's not my favorite.I can name every single Japanese vocaloid, series 1,2, and 3, and probably most of the English ones. Does this make me a weeaboo, no. A vocaboo is someone who knows only the crytpon vocaloids, but refuses to at least acknowledge that their are more vocaloids.
Vocaloid weeaboos/ vocaboos think other vocaloids can't be real vocaloids because their boxart may not be "kAWAII dEsUUU111!~~~" enough( Vy Series, Meiko, Kaito, Lily) , or their names aren't in Japanese (Oliver, Sweet Ann, Big Al), or they don't have cool designs like Miku, Rin, and Len.
Not all of the vocaloid fandom is like this, there are sensible people, I can name a few, but It's private.
Also, Youtube is NOT a reliable source! Most info in the comments are NOT true! Just like every fandom, they have their ups and downs, but why do vocaloid, touhou, and idolmaster, get all of the blame for everyone being fandumb?
My little pony has just as much fandumb people as the vocaloid fandom, same with portal, WoW, and most anime fandoms.
Unless you've heard of more vocaloids besides Miku, Kaito, Len, Rin, Luka, and Gumi, you might be a vocaboo. Not bashing on people if they are your favorite vocaloids, and you at least recognize other ones.

The Japanese vocaloid may be favourite (Meiko, Kaito, Luka, VY1 and VY2) but I do like chines (Yan He and luo tian yi) and English (Dex and Daina) Vocaloids as well.

OMG, this is so true. My 3 favorite Japanese vocaloids are Gumi, IA, and Iroha, and my 3 favorite Engloids are Oliver, Big Al, and Lola. I also like the Crypton Vocaloids, but not as much as the 3rd Party Vocaloids, to be completely honest.

My favorite Crypton Vocaloids are the Kagamine twins. I also really love Mayu (exit tunes). As for Engloids, Avanna is awesome! I really think Lily, CUL and Iroha need more love though!

i hate it when people say enjloids suck! (my favorite vocaloid is oliver) ummm you do know that this lady said her friend from japan came down to america and she showed him miku his first reaction was "I dont like her singing at all"
so ya =_= this is so true. sure i like rolling girl (which happens to be one of my favorite songs ever) but..im sick of vocaboo's TT_TT

I agree too. This actually give me more confidence in my decision to save up for Oliver - I love vocaloid not necessarily for the designs, but for the plots, the voicebanks, and the way a character gains a personality. Oh, and I love music. IT IS DELICIOUS. MAiJ MUST ALWAYS GET HER MUSIC FIX.
Also, quick thing - it should be "there are more vocaloids."

My favourite Engloid before Oliver was Sweet Ann. I like the Crypton Vocaloids best overall, but I have MoDV on my MP3 and Piko is one of my favourite Vocaloids. So don't you guys bloody call me a weaboo, world! XD I may not like other Vocaloids as much, but that's because I haven't heard them in the right hands. I bet that they're all amazing.

So truuuueeee ;____; honestly Miku annoys me, and I'm afraid the V3's (especially SeeU) are going to turn into the same KAWAII DESU NYAAAANNNN sort of thing ^^" I don't even know what it is about this that annoys me, and my favorite is actually a Crypton Vocaloid (Lukachaaann) though I admit the newer ones, especially Iroha and the VY's, sound absolutely FANTASTIC in the right hands.
Also, I love how nobody ever mentions Gakupo =w=;;;;

I know many Vocaloid fans who understand the scope of what Vocaloid is. And most of them have favorites outside of Crypton's Vocaloids. I have personal reasons for liking Miku, Rin, and Len, but outside of them I adore other's as well, such as SeeU and IA.
I agree with you. We are no different from any other fandom!

As a primary Engloid fan, the whole thng about Weaboos gets to me.
I gave up anime in 2006 because I got fed up with being accused of being a weaboo, I'm with Vocaloid but I don't really follow the J-loid except Gumi and Gakupo because I like their vocals (ditto for VY2).
I had a Engloid before the J-loids were even released...
