Drawing humans realistically is one thing, but to nail the looks of actual people is more than a skill, it's witchcraft! xD This is so goooood!

Woah, thanks a lot! Yeah, do you think he actually looks like Joaquin Phoenix? I'm always unsure, I try to make the portraits look like the actual person but I don't want it to be an exact copy, it still has to show a part of me on it. Finding that balance is soo hard!

If by ''part of me'' you mean like, leaving your own mark, I think the brushes and the colors that you're using kinda do that for you. I knew who did this one before I even read the name in the Watch xD Your portraits are perfect where they need to be, if that makes any sense. I don't like when portraits are pushed too far and end up looking like a photo.

Yes, leaving my own mark, that's exactly what I was trying to say.We are exactly on the same page when it comes to portraits then. I just feel like if it is a drawing it should add something more to the picture, if it doesn't, why wouldn't you look at the photo instead and just be done with it?
