It could work both ways, but I just tend to like my robots to have some humanity remain, so probably cyborg for me. Would you rather she becomes a full robot?

Maybe. Yes, probably, I would prefer to see her as a full robot.
I like ideas of singularity and eternal life, however I like cyberpunk also. And sometimes I mix it into some strange.
About future of this child I think more probably that she is chose a way to full robot body.
She born (was created) and grow as hybrid of human and robot. In a society where she lives will be a lot cyborgs and robots which was humans in past. And even her mom as minimum is a cyborg or more probably is a robotized human, because need to really love technologies and have body without ability to give birth that turn her yet unborn child into hybrid like that and grow her embryo in incubation capsule.
And I think, that she fast realise that robotic parts give to her more capabilities than human parts, or in comparison with ordinary children.
And she begins to ask questions "Why I can't get more robotics parts?".
She'll get different answers. "You loss of you humanity.", "You're too young for that." and some other... Whom will she ask? Of course those who have become cyborgs or robots. But adults do not like to talk about their shortcomings.Β But what is important for child, what she will remember? Right,Β "You're too young for that.".Β
And later, when she grow into a beautiful young cyborg girl, but old enough to decide for themselves, what she decides? Young people are not very much tend to listen to adults. And that young people appreciate more? Ephemeral humanity or an incredible opportunity?
Moreover, she have a "living" example - her mother.Β After all, her mother made an even bigger step. HerΒ mother was a human.Β But she is already hybrid. It seems the difference is not so great.
For young cyborg girl soΒ easy decide to transform into full robot, and absolutely impossible to transform back.
Yes, I would prefer to see her as a full robot. It is interesting to look at her twice.
First time, soon after she was transformed into robot, when she is fascinated by new capabilities and until not notice some of the consequences. Until her synthetic eyes yet shine by human dreams.
And second time, many and many years after she was transformed into robot, after she played enough with her capabilities, after she without tears mourn all the pieces of humanity, which she lost in that day (No. Not lost, throw out with delight), after she find in self all remains of her humanity and find her way in world.
Young robotized girl and adult robotic female.
So similar and so different. Considering that the robots do not age, although they may change the bodies.

Thank you! Yes, that chain totally is an umbilical cord. At first I was going to place a big wire there but when I saw the chain in my brushset thought it would be way better.
