Description
A creature that waited deep in the shadows, in a nightmare i had.She was evil and aimed to hurt me. To rend and tear my flesh with teeth and talons; but she only knew where i was through sound. Only when i stumbled and made a noise did she lurch and twist toward me, body and limbs moving with quick, stuttering and ungainly movement.
she was creeeeeeeeeeepy.
so i drew her
there are some really obvious influences that i recognised after i remembered her. things i'd seen that worked into my dreams. but she's as close to the thing from my dreams as i could get her, so any inspiration or influence really is completely subconcious.

Somehow your mind appears to have modged the Nurses from Silent Hill, with the Devouring Man from Pan's Labrinth.
Scary dreams suck, always I dream I am being held underwater and drowned by weird prehistoric undiscovered sea creatures. Its horrible. And still I buy these weird pets that resemble the animals in my dreams.

hehe, yep. Undoubtedly another minor influence. It moved like that. I saw the film over the xmas hols so some of it must have got burried in my good ol' subconcious.

Yeah she is creepy - I think you should put that first sketch up that you did in uni - the one where her head is bent back. That is EVEN creepier.

Yeah, i knew that would come up. Midna's headdress is based on mayan and aztec design, which im told ffeatures heavily throughout the game. My influence came in part from aztec art too. Wether ppl are going to believe it or not, its simple coincidence.
