I dont hate him(specially after my few commissions turn all around him), but this character of mine in particular, wouldnt stand him one more second, his main issue taking the fool's life was that it was actually Astrid's request, that kinda of ruins a bit the fun, and makes you want to spare his life just to keep disobeing her

in my current game he is freezing his assoutside the dawnstar sanctuary, didnt allow him in yet

lol, Poor cissy, freezing in the cold...and possibly being eaten by an Ancient Dragon every five minutes...0.o am i the only one who gets attacked by those things EVERYTIME i go to the Dawnstar Sanctuary? one time i litteraly fast traveled there, killed an ancient dragon, made Cicero my follower (after he finnally returned when i accidentaly lost him), walked out, and got attack by ANOTHER ancient dragon...

balgrruf or something like that...onh my first runs i hated him too, since he takes quite a while to give you all thge quests and such...but in the end, objectively speaking, he is the only decent noble in skyrin, since is the only one that really cares for the defenseless

lol i left him alive, but never allowed him to introduce, or make the joke about killing me, once in the dawnstar sanctuary, cause I cancel the dialog as soon as he says "LISTENEEEEER!!!!", and then shoot him a couple arrows to the face till he kneels, and keep going with my duties lol

lol, there are 2 more parts to this, and im working on part 4, so...i havent really forgotten them lol...Im just...doing it, little by little...

There are many annoying characters i havent included yet, like half of the thieves guild, commander maro, Maven Black Briar, the jarl of Dawnstar, Lucien, etc...

But sure, toss any ideas anytime, and Im glad u loled with the potage joke, lol, noone mentioned it yet, i was like "D:!"

Oh the thieves guild... how deceiving... They made me miss the Morrowind and Oblivion days... by then at least I knew my interest in doing what I was told to do. I don't like characters whose designer was so proud of them that you can feel it "I'm so cool because ...I'm so cool!". Damn.
Yet I quite liked Maven just because she was such a b****, I liked to hate her, she balanced the political game.

I'm surprised the potage wasn't mentioned yet! An unexpected merging of two quests bathed in derision is great, the context was good, it's a good joke! And making jokes isn't so easy... (I often fear to be the only one laughing when I read my own texts)

lol totally agree on the last part...I feel the same about my "jokes"...like, i might be laughing by myself, but when i stop to think about it, im like "maybe is only funny to me..."


and yeah, morrowind completely destroyed any preconception i had about RPGs, for once, you truly were the character, and the atmosphere and graphics for its time were crazy, besides the character progression, was totally tailored by your gameplay style...awesome...Oblivion was, maybe not better, but had many good things, and its guilds, all of them were memorable, see...like in skyrim, there is only 1 "fighters guild", and they have only 1 place, same for mages and all the other guilds, which is sort of a shame, since was cool to be all over the different cities...

I know Skyrim is NOT cyrodiil, and it fits the lore, to have this "crappy" villages and such...but besides Solitude, all oblivion cities or even villages where better aswell...

But skyrim LOOKS so right...lol

that's why feedback is so important... plus it's cheering. I think I'm not bad at blending humour in a story (I think the Dunmer Tactics of Guerilla is quite funny...) but making jokes isn't the most easy exercise. I thought of one yesterday night, I don't know if it's good but I think it's worth those of the Funniest Wood Elf Ever:
The story happens during the Oblivion Crisis. An Orc and a Nord are looking for a place to rest when they come by a strange fiery gate in the middle of the forest.
"The sky is stormy something bad, Kyne's gonna bloody piss on us," the Nord says, "we'd better cross this gate."
The Orc doesn't object and so they cross the gate to find themselves in a devastated black plain surrounded with lava.
"Where in Oblivion are we?" the Orc asks.
"Seeing this ashland and lava I'd say we're in Morrowind," the Nord answers.
"You must be right, I think there's a Daedric shrine over there," the Orcs points a strange tower further away.
They walk a little and see someone coming.
"We must really be in Morrowind, see, that's a Dunmer," the Nord says.
"He's got dark skin, weird eyes, but what about the horns?" the Orc bewares.
The Nord takes a better look then turns to the Orc with a dubious expression.
"What, the horns? ...You never heard that Dunmers are horny?"
(I'm gonna put it in a joke book in the next version of my mod, along with answers to "why does the Dunmer cross the road?")

The guild system of Morrowind is something that really lacks in Skyrim I think. Oblivion was great because the faction plots were so amazing at this time, they really did great with the new features of the engine... but I feel that Skyrim could have had better guilds or at lest better characters, it felt like a remake of what was good in Oblivion hardly reheated. They didn't make as much surprise.
And I prefered the Morrowind system when you had to become skilled to get higher in hierarchy and could not be head of House Telvanni, Morag Tong and Fighters Guild at level 20.
This is really the aspect I like the least. So I play different characters to try different factions.

lol I know they are just too many , but made it to part 3 so far
and Heimskr doesnt really bother me, I must be the only one that doesnt spend time at all in whiterun (most players tend to do all the managemente there)

Every time I walk by him I just want to give him one of my arrows for free. It probably doesn't help that I always play Dunmer, and he spends half his time screaming about the depravity of mer.

I got fed up with skyrim´s racism...before, Khajits and Argonians where sort of the rejects, now even redguards, bosmer, DUNMER a LOT, and (for good reasons) Altmer...even bretons are hated in skyrim lol...Orcs are luckily invisible

I actually felt like they could have taken it further. For example, the Khajiit talk about being prejudiced against, but my Khajiit character never experienced worse than "Stay out of trouble, Khajiit." He even had Ysolda explain to him what a Khajiit is.

and I never killed Cicero on a saved game, just for the pleasure, but then loaded to keep him alive, YET, i repeat this a lot, I never allow him to greet me for the first time, so he stands freezing outside the sanctuary

well, haven´t played it yet, stupid bioware don´t like to make gamepad compatibility for their pc games D:

I went through that on the whole mass effect series, all great games including DA origins, but really unconfortable to play on pc, for me at least, so DA2 was already a drawback after what i mentioned...

I´ll have to check it out at least for curiosity, but I could name a fair list of characters that he could somehow resemble to, so no surprise it can remind of someone else

yeah, same goes for the dawnguard dlc, both factions are pretty extreme and ilogical...I saw the game more or less like nazis vs fascists, choose your side, which totally sucks and so far I have only finished once the civil war, to be dissapointed by Ulfric's arrogance and racism, and I was a Nord on that run, currently, with the bosmer, i cannot choose any of them...

well, the character sorta reflects the reaction of players (or at least me) haha to the situations we gotta face at times in skyrim. is pretty fun to work on him (Nanashi, basically means "nameless"), and thx to mods i can make him look exactly as I want him to ... Tehn i got a pretty cool char to draw even if the drawings arent that good

That's a fact. The same goes for any form of art, I guess. The characters reflect the creator, if even just a little bit.

Nanashi - I like it. Makes him sound mysterious.

I'm a console player, so no mods for me, but I find it very interesting to see how they effect the fandom. Headcannons and little personal worlds springing up. Pretty cool stuff.

I disagree, I think the drawings are very nicely done. You have a talent, no doubt about it.
