Description
A long promised Wand-tutorial.I'm REALLY sorry it has taken me so long, but here it is!
I hope you'll try it out, and make your own wands!
We (me and supersigrun) used about one hour, making eight wands this evening, including the time the glue got cold, and the paint dried completely.
ENJOY - and please do share with me, if you make your own - I'd love to se your wands!

Hi! I LOVE the tutorial, but when i used my hot glue gun, i had only 4 seconds to mold it Do you have any suggestions on how to get it like the ninth picture? They were really good!

This was excellent!! I did this with my kids and they LOVED them. We actually let some of the bead on top show on some of them and it looked cool. We also used crackle paint on them and that turned out cool too!Β
Thanks for this tutorial!!Β

I saw this in a "do it yourself" website somewhere.
And now I've found the one who've created it! Very nice.
I have 2 wands almost finished, but I need more practice.
Thank you for the tutorial!

... how did you do that in an hour? O.o
I made 15 wands - some of them are pretty creepy xD - and it took me about 8 hours ^^
Love it, though - I've been wanting to try this for more than a year and I finally took the time

OMG!! I saw a real carved wood one like this in a catalog for $50 and almost bought it! So glad I found this so I can make my own instead of paying for an expensive one!

LOVED THIS IDEA. But one thing, how did you do the stripes like Hermonie's wand? The hot glue line wouldn't be that thin, would it?

My friend made that one, but I think it was used string. Glued it the chopstick in both ends good luck!!

I have difficulties putting on the paint on the hot glue, is that normal?

You can try to rub the glue with some sanded paper π
