A long promised Wand-tutorial.I'm REALLY sorry it has taken me so long, but here it is!
I hope you'll try it out, and make your own wands!
We (me and supersigrun) used about one hour, making eight wands this evening, including the time the glue got cold, and the paint dried completely.
ENJOY - and please do share with me, if you make your own - I'd love to se your wands!

My friends knew that I make things out of wood so they asked me to make wands and I didn't know and then I found this awesome shit

Me and my best friends spent hours doing this just the other day. Now I have friends requesting me to make them wands lol. The only difference from the tutorial is that I use dowel rods.

I can't seem to find any chopsticks except for online. Do you know of any store I can visit that sells them? I do not live near any Chinese restaurants.

Grocery stores generally have them down the international food section. Try Zhers if you are Canadian I know they sell them

Man I'm trying so hard to make one like that light tan one there, but I just can't get the glue to work well.. Why brand of glue sticks do you use? And where can I get some of those neat dowels? That info would be very much helpful.

the glue we used is the cheapest kind we could find. have you checked wether your glue-gun has options for how warm it gets? the warmer the glue, the easier it is to make it smooth...
I think everything else was bought at some arts and crafts store..nothing particulary expencive...

I actually work at a Michael's arts and crafts store lol. We don't have any chopstick-like dowels like that

The chopsticks where bought at an asian-food-store...but I got a tip the other day, to use paintbrush-handles instead. They're longer, an most likely a bit heavier

Just go to a 99 cent store or Walmart, at Walmart only like 3 bucks for about like 60 or more.

My GF works at a Walmart Super Center,(Literally across the street from my Michael's) and we've yet to find any. ;-;
