Okay. So I was waiting for this question. And I suppose the answer at this time is a hesitant yes? It's going to depend on my ablilities to emulate a certain style I think. I'm not into the cloppy parts of our fandom, and while I don't care if a person does I'd rather not have certain images going through my brain of somepony else, um..."enjoying" my pictures too much.
If you've ever read a manga series called "Saikano" you'll know what I mean when I say I'm attempting to emulate an approach like that. It's a short six piece series and there are some sex scenes in it, but it was sort of only half-drawn? I can't really explain it I suppose, but it was very subtle and gentle that style.
Maybe I should've addressed this with front page entry.
Maybe somepony else will know what I'm talking about?

Uuum, yes and no. I upload all my non-pony art to my other DA account AP-Berg, but I haven't been doing anything but this for the most part and I'm much harsher on my original work than my fan drawings so a lot just doesn't make it as far as that. Maybe I should make a link somewhere on my page to the other account? I'll think about that I suppose if I start something that I'm really proud of (hasn't happened yet).

Come to think of it the design of the vault suit was never explicitly described and i really dig your design,though the fallout fanboy in me is questioning how a pipboy/buck is so think in comparison to the bulky thing in the game but it still looks cool either way ^^

Yeah, I'm trying to infuse some pony ergonomics in with the fallout design, so it does look a bit more streamlined. Expect things to slightly tweak and change as the story progresses and as I flesh out how things work in this world.

While I'm sure there will be some parts in the story where I will be forced to go the route of blatantly writing down what she's thinking I'm trying to show her emotions and reactions as opposed to just telling you them. This isn't a novel after all (Kkat already did that!), it's a visual affair.

An obvious scene where you'll have to put in her inner monologue is the bit where Velvet Remedy paralyses her in Ten Pony Tower.

I dislike the plot of Fallout: Equestria, I liked the context of it but the story itself is quite stupid. Also the story portrayed the Vaults as if they were massive bunkers (like the size of old new york in futurama).

Played? no. Unfortunately I don't have the time or patience for video games anymore. I still have a love for them though and I do my research. I love the story though, and I think Kkats characters are written very well, better than some other "real" stories I've read before. The story takes place in the world of Fallout and that's it, it isn't supposed to follow any Fallout story I believe so there's that... I don't know dude, I just adore the story, if you dislike it so much then feel free to not read the story as it will probably anger your inner fanboy?

I never said I dislike the story now did I? You quote me and show me where I previously stated outright "I HATE FALLOUT EQUESTRIA IT IS THE BIGGEST PIECE OF BALLS AND DOESN'T FOLLOW ANYTHING THAT IS PRESENTED IN FALLOUT!!!"
however if I was to say something I don't like about the story (and I've noticed this in a few FOE stories) it's that there is ALOT of sections dedicated just to sex. In all the fallout games you can have sex like three times. And even then it lasts like 1 hour (in-game time). Also some of the jokes in the story become very old very quickly mainly because kkat butchered the jokes for filler. Like how characters would comment about littlepip's sexual life (once again the whole sex thing), and she would get embarresed and then freeze up or what ever it was. It's just like kkat came up with it the first time and then just couldn't be bothered coming up with anything else. At least in Fallout (especially in new vegas) they put a fair amount of comedy but it isn't the same joke and more to the point isn't based on sex cause as anyone would say jokes about sexual activity aren't funny.
Finally if you don't have the time or the patience to play a fallout game but yet can spend time reading the story confuses me greatly. As if you had the time to read the story then I'am sure you probably do have the time and probably the patience (especially on those sections that become very longwinded) to play a fallout game. My guess is you can't be fucked and just go around critising people who have played the games and read the story and probably know more context then you do on the subject.

Chill dude it's okay, I'm not judging anybody here. I read the story because it's well written and I like MLP, and I'm a fan of wasteland/post-apocalyptic stories in general so I guess I was just already inclined towards that story. And I'm drawing the story because I enjoy making comics and this story in particular really stuck in my head. Don't know what else to tell you.
I'll probably never play the game though, not because I have anything against it I just stopped serious gaming a while ago because I'm more interested in making more art (both this and non-pony art, digital and traditional, etc, etc.)
But who knows, if you wanna stick around and give me a shot maybe we can both come away with something. Learning and sharing and all that jazz, that's what it's all about, amirite?

Where are you seeing all this sex in the story? I can find two sections, chapter 20 with Littlepip and Homage, and chapter 32 with velvet and calamity. None of it is explicit, just implied. And throughout the rest of the story where these events are referenced or joked about, is occasional and hilarious.

No, just no. Why would Kkat need filler? The story is a lot longer than she originally anticipated. When I came across similar themes/jokes I still enjoyed them and they were far from suffering from overuse.

Yes I did say that however I what I mean is I didn't hate the whole story. I liked the characters, weapons, locations, tie-in with fallout in general and the context of the story. What I mean is the story itself seems to jump around a bit and what not. Also I found the whole memory orb thing to be a bit unfair cause obviously the memory orbs are meant to represent the audio logs found in any fallout but because they are limited to just unicorns, the creators of the stories have to make their main a unicorn otherwise they can't use memory orbs and thus can't provide backstory through a mostly well thought of medium.
I will admit that was my own error. When I made that statement I was refering to Project Horizons, which since we are discussing the original has absolutely no purpose for my argument.
The joke I was refering to was the 31 orgasm joke that seemed to appear in almost every chapter (not saying it did, but it felt like it) or Littlepip's constant unique swears (which most of the time seemed to relate in someway to a private area) because in a story about Fallout it was so hard for the character to say "well fuck."

Yes you could say that jokes about sex could be funny, I read a funny one on tumblr a while back, but what I meant is that when they seem to be the only jokes used (once again refering to the joke section above) then after a while they become less witty and more annoying and do seem to be just a lazy effort. However I will agree that the author put in a massive effort with the story itself so this is more of a nitpick as anyone could do this after 45 chapters.
That can be true however the other user seemed to portray me as an arrogant gamer fan boy who got "mad" when they saw something that went against what they believed. "then feel free to not read the story as it will probably anger your inner fanboy" <- this is what MajourBrons said after they agreed my original comment about how the story portrayed the stables (vaults).

I will admit this came a bit brash (my fault for staying awake 35 hours but that isn't important) and for that I appoligise MajorBrons for my F U comment (that is if you read this one). But what I meant is if he had the time to read the story then instead of playing the games why not read some of the fallout fiction or watch let's plays of the games cause personally when you read the story while you have knowledge about the fallout universe, means you can find the connections between the story and the mythos.

Thanks for taking the time to write out a detailed reply, I actually see where you're coming from and understand your argument better now. That's an interesting point about the memory orbs, although, I'd sat Kkat never imagined there would be hundreds of side-fics of her story, and wouldn't have thought of accommodating those authors.
The thing about sexual jokes just comes down to personal opinion/sense of humour I guess. *shrug*.
Staying awake for 35 hours and writing out internet comments does sound like a bad combination haha.
And that's a fair point about the artist being familiar with the fallout universe. (Written this time in a more polite manner, cheers!) I raised the same concerns when I first came across this comic, but the artist reassured me they would do their best to research what they needed to know.
As for who rates comments, yeah that was just me trying to wind you up haha.

No need for thanks as I stated before my previous comments were very vague and not properly worded and such needed more attention. And on the note about story's affect on the community was probably greater then what KKat expected but then again this was probably the first great fanfic. Well written, plot...anyway, characters unique and the development of them excellently portrayed (Littlepip overcoming her addiction, VR's quest to be nice to everything, calamity's past, the origins of the dj pon3, homage and littlepip's relationship and everything else), setting well thought out and described in great detail, minor conflicts (reminded me of a few adventures I had in Fallout games) and possibly the whole appeal of the story combining two completely series and meshing them together to create a fanfic that is rivaled by few. Hell it was so good fans of the fic have gone off and created their own wasteland adventures. Also something else that was more of a disapointment was the epilogue being told from Fluttershy's prespective, why not littlepip's? Or one of the majour characters we've been following for so long? The problem is that we are given the "10 years later" told by the a character that had next to nothing to do with the story (now before you object by saying "Fluttershy ran the ministry of peace and played an important role in Velvet Rememdy's development of allowing her to better understand what she wanted in life, so how dare you suggest that she was not important to the plot whatsoever.", also "be kind" influenced littlepip to a degree. But all this that fluttershy did to the story was her legacy. It was what she did while she was around during the war was what influenced velvet, it was a statuette with an inscription of "be kind" that influenced littlepip and about %15 of her soul which isn't much. And then after she is bought back by velvet she takes 10 years to recover from a 200 year old war and the first thing she does is try to get a sancturary for a very adapt species (one that was better off then pony kind). This is what I mean by all this: Fluttershy's legacy played a key role to the plot not herself when she was made a new character. It be like saying if the americans won world war three thanks to the help of regan even though he is dead.)
