I wasn’t even planning on making another sad Sonic and Gumball drawing so soon after the last drawing I put out, but then last Friday (which is two days after that drawing), I tested positive for the fucking coronavirus! I ended up getting a cold with a runny nose, and I’m stuck in my sleeping area for the next several days, and my mind has been going insane from this isolation! To say that my 2022 is off to a dismal start is an understatement, as if my 2020 and 2021 starting off badly somehow weren’t enough!

At the very least, though, the vaccination and booster that I got before this give me a better chance at living through this (hence, why they’re still recommended, where catching COVID afterwards would lead to a mild illness at worst rather than a severe one), but I’m still getting crazier thoughts than usual from isolation (no matter how necessary it is), and that’s what led to this drawing of Gumball being sad and depressed from the sickness with Nicole and Sonic hoping he makes it through. The fact that this is based on a real life sad occurrence in my life leads to another curse word (this time coming from Sonic saying goddammit), though it isn’t as extreme as when Gumball said fuck in response to a car crash that all three of these characters were in that was based on a car crash I was in as well. How can my already hard life possibly get any harder, am I right? Really think about everything I’ve opened up about over the years (particularly my IRL circle), from an abusive stepfamily that crippled my social skills to the not-so-LGBT-friendly period that was my pre-adult life to being the first person to find my uncle dead to the aforementioned car crash, and now testing positive for the virus! Will the madness ever cease!?

And seriously, please do not spread conspiracies and other such misinformation like vaccines being the stuff that kills millions or some shit in the comments section. I had this happen on my Turning Red going to Disney+ status update from the user Dicey459 (now banned from this site, thank Christ), and I can and will delete comments like that and block anyone else who does so, so it’s not even worth wasting your own time trying to leave such deadly filth here. Essentially, you put your garbage in the bin, and the dumpster truck will come by to empty it for that garbage to get thrown in the incinerator, so don’t even try to get a rise out of me as I won’t even reply anyway.
