Description
" Harry looked down at his empty gold plate. He had only just realized how hungry he was. The pumpkin pasties seemed ages ago.Albus Dumbledore had gotten to his feet. He was beaming at the students, his arms opened wide, as if nothing could have pleased him more than to see them all there.
"Welcome!" he said. "Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts! Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here they are: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!
"Thank you!"

I've never really drawn old men, so Dumbledore was an exercise in futility for a while. Quirrell was hard just because he's one of the few characters that I really had clear picture of. I'm really disappointed with my Hogwarts Crest, but I didn't want it to look just like the movie version. I might fiddle with it later.
Was anyone else vastly disappointed that Dumbledore didn't say "Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!" in any of the movies?

Very, very cool. I love all the little details: everything from the goblets and dishes - gold, just like in the books which makes this WAY cool in my estimation. I love the colors - they're bold, but not overwhelming. I suppose the folks who made the movies thought that line made Dumbledore sound even stranger. However, I liked the next part as well - mad, but brilliant! I've heard some theories that those four words is what brought the food to each table
Thank you for making this book scene come to life.

Thanks for your comment! Color is another thing that I don't alway feel like I have a good grasp on, so it's nice to hear that you think the colors work well.

'And then I was like, "What are you, a gay fish?"' Sorry, just reminded me of that quote, but very well done

Quirrell has a nice face structure, though for some reason I remember him as being bald...? Haha.
I also like the way you made the wrinkles on McGonagall's face. It makes her seem a bit older than Dumbledore, actually. XD;;

AGH!! I TOTALLY meant to make him bald! I even thought: "Gosh, how weird would it be if he had hair? It would mean Voldemort would be poking out of his head- furry Voldie...". I'll go back and get rid of those sideburns.
Yeah, and somehow, Dumbledore just didn't look like Dumbledore with excessive amounts of wrinkles, while McGonagall didn't look serious enough without them. Strange.

FACIAL HAIR VOLDY. Ahahahha. <3
XD Hahahaha. Well, McGonagall is more of the kind of person that stresses about things, even though Dumbledore may have more pressing issues on his mind.
