It's funny, everytime one of my friends see your drawings they would always ask,
"whoa, is that a picture?"
and I answered back with, "No, he drew it."
And then they would respond with, "But it looks like a picture."

I am real happy. I mean, living our whole lives for something...not being sure what this something is. I feel for someone to help me find this "point" of me drawing is worth being alive for.

And of course! You need to be known lol you have a lot of talent that people should know about haha and it is very hard to be known >__> It's also kind of tiring because sometimes you can be very busy, but then people are waiting to see your new works, but sometimes you don't feel like you have the inspiration to do it, or you just don't have the time.
Also, even though you say you feel for someone to help you find your "point" of you drawing, in the end, it really depends on why YOU draw, and whether or not it's worth being alive for. Why do you draw? And who do you draw for? Do you draw for yourself, but it just so happens that others like it too? Or do you draw for others because it makes them happy, even though you might not be satisfied with the final result?
In the end, it's all on you.
But in my opinion, I think-no- know your drawings give me a reason to continue to improve on my art. Although you say you see many mistakes in your drawings, the flaws in them encourages you to keep drawing, and keep on persisting in perfecting this talent of yours. And plus, it seems as if you have a lot of great friends to help you criticize your work when you are at a loss.

Well, I actually live by my own reason which is, "I live for others". So that would also mean I draw to make others happy. But in truth, no one actually draws completely for others. As humans are selfish either way we think of it. No matter how nice someone can be, they are nice because they want others to believe they are nice. Though at the same time we also do have some genuine feelings that we do want to be good to the world and our friends around us. Though I am not saying everyone are bastards. Just saying, life is just as happy as it can get. Not everything is sweet now is it?
Art I feel really changed me. I used to be a really nasty person. I mean...really. I didn't really care for anything or anyone. I'm sure we've all been to the dark side.
Everything you typed what's funny is it's what I always tell my friends all the time. Now to have it said back to me is kind of like a replay of a lecture. Lmao! Which is good cuz a person can know all these things, but they need a refresher even if they do know.
I remember saying it's "all on you" to people a lot. Feels weird to have someone else say everything I usually say honestly. It's like a twin. Thank you. :3
Seeing as I don't believe in God..I see no point in living in the past. But after awhile, seeing as how there's people like you and meeting so many great friends in real life and on the internet...It's amazing how things can change. It's not that I lost my meaning in living...if it sounded that way.
But drawing still needs a "point". We can have a point in living, but for individual things like drawing...sometimes we need motivation am I right? My motivation would be mainly cuz I just want others to see my progress. And seeing other artists improve I guess spurs us on to improve even more.

anyway, for the first paragraph, it's like deja vu for me since I actually had a conversation like that with one of my friends before. But I agree with what you're saying. A number of times we would do something nice mainly if it benefits us in one way or another. For example, as what you have mentioned before, if someone does something nice for someone, then in the future, they'll most likely expect that person to return the favor sooner or later. But there really are those times in which we do nice things just because :]
So in my own harsh words; If there weren't such things as selfish bastards such as you and me, we would be living in one 'effed up world since all our decisions would be based off of benefiting others, which leaves no room in doing things we would want to do. I'm not exactly sure if that made any since at all.. It sounded better in my head, but whatever haha (actually, if you watched the movie, Yes Man starring Jim Carey, then I think that would prove a better understanding in what I am trying to say haha)
Aha the dark days hm? I remember those days where I always pushed others away, giving others a bad impression, but that was mainly because of my abusive past. It's funny how one small thing can change you in a big way. How art changed you for the better, music changed me, well to be exact, DBSK is the one that pulled my out of the dark haha And now I'm way happier now, and I hope you are too ^___^

You tell your friends the same thing? x]] I don't know, my friends tell me that I'm like the motivator so if you hear words like that then well you know why haha And yes, sometimes it's good to hear it from another person rather than having you tell yourself that XD well for me I think it's nice sometimes haha

Well I too don't see a point in living in the past, you can learn from your mistakes that occurred in the past, but other than that, there's no really any reason to live in the cloud of your memories. Of course it didn't sound like you were saying that you lost your reason for living, if it was then that would be bad! D':
Hmm you're right, you can't really do something just because you can. If you continue like that, then your motivation for that will surely die and you'll get tired of it :/
I remember long time ago I drew for two reasons: One was because I was a HUGE otaku (lol) and two, which in probably the most important reason was because I absolutely loved to draw, it was fun, creative, and all that cool jazz. But lately, it just seems like I draw just because.. I can.
It wasn't until recently where my passion for it has began to grow again due to not only my observation of many DeviantART artist, but also my peers. :]
Haha we're having quite a deep conversation here if I say so myself. I haven't had one of these in a while, and I am enjoying it haha.

Sorry. I meant to say because I don't believe in God in the past and I still don't, I didn't really see a point to live. But as time goes on, I feel even if I don't have a religion...it didn't really stop me from wanting to live.

Yeh, I didn't know what I wanted to do to this piece to make it into "my style". I felt this did the trick. His skin failed. Mmmm, I'm not sure what I am aiming for when it comes to making a piece mine.

DRAW IN COLOR DRAW IN COLOR. I want to see that. That would be a challenge though. First is like you mentioned, the money for a mere set. Then it's the whole complexity of choosing the colors that will go well with the ref.
