You've done a nice job of refining the face, and the final result is, well, quite badass - hell, at least I like it. The black and red eyes was a nice touch, and you've done a good job of fading out the shoulders while keeping the detail itself nice, so hey, great work!

Alright, I fixed up his hair a bit. I used a one pixel brush so that's probably why things look a bit "fake" 'cause it has that pixelated quality. D; I did this at night so my monitor sees real bad at night...I couldn't see all the shitty mistakes I was making on the hair. Now that I've woken up and the sun is shining, all the colors are extra bright on the monitor and I see all the mistakes. -___-

And by the strands lacking strands, you did mean the top of his hair right? 'Cause that part was not worked on the most...which I shouldn't have done. -.- I did not follow the reference for the most part so some parts may not look as realistic. I'll try to remember that in the future.

Aww, Maida. Thank you! Glad to know you're liking the small progressions. Never worked harder in my life for a drawing. >.> This is probably the first drawing I've been so SERIOUS about. Satoshi is quite close but I had a really good reference picture. This one the ref is like an ant so it was a good way to "add" my own touches to it...Maybe I should start using smaller refs from now on. -_- J/kkkk.

Lol, and that's a good thing! Be serious this about them all and you'll see that it'll all be worth it but small references each time might make you a bit crazy and nobody wants that.
I have to say, this is fucking awesome XD Considering the size of the ref, you did such an amazing job huni. To me, his face seems a little narrower and his jaw on the right isn't as sharp but I really like it like that. It's still Jay, you can tell it's him straight away.
I absolutely love this and the shine! especially the little bit around his jaw on the right side of his face. OMG the detail in the hair, the little wisps at the ear are <333 I love the creativity, how it's not all of him and fades off at his chest. The roughness of the background <3 Almost looks like watercolour on rough paper, like traditional mixed with digital, so awesome ^^ His skin look so smooth, like it's been sculpted and I wanna touch it, lol. Your own touches are the best, real creative Panda ^^
