Wow ok, this sucks balls. I still need to practice pencil.
(I totally BSed the last half of his cloak mask as you can all tell.)
I know there's a lot of things OFF, but I'm not perfect. XD
The right side of his hair near his eye is a little flat, sorry.

I like how his hair on the upper-left kind of 'fade' gradually but the strands near his neck stays sharp. Yum.

Scanners take away a lot of the detail and lightens and darkens things that is not needed so that's why I hate scanners. But of course if a good scanner is purchased, then it'd be fine. In this case, no. XD

i think my scanner is decent, maybe because my camera isn't good enough, and the lighting is terrible in my room xD but to really appreciate traditional work you need to see it in real life ><

Ah. We are the opposite then. My camera is a SLR so it takes sharp pics. My scanner on the other hand can't scan crap. XD I got it free from buying my mac. It's a HP printer with a scanner. It's like a $60 dollar printer so it can't do a thing. >.> Paper always gets jammed and the scanner scans things all pixelated and grays things out to the point of no saving. XD Lucky you have a decent scanner. I suppose I should invest in one, one day. <3

lol mine is a scanner/printer too, but not an hp one..
and my camera is just one of those little digital ones -.- it's good sometimes, but not always

It's just his eyes really. the first thing I saw this I was going "OMG! HE FINISHED IT!!! KYA!!!" and then "**ck, scary" so I covered his eyes with one of my sticky notes and it isn't so bad...

Nope I haven't got time to send you the note, it's slowly being typed out cause internet is still buttcrack here. Though if you get any email from me, I'm guessing it's a spam. Heck I even got emails from myself. I think it's some bug cause I get spam from other people too that don't normally email me. T____T

Ohhhwaah, it's so stirring. This has to be one of the few pieces I've seen that I can actually feel an emotional response as a result. In fullview it's like my heart got squeezed a little bit, even though that sounds bad...it was a good feeling.

The shadows are so sensitive and the details in the eyes are so precise. And the hair tips are super well drawn. I'm sure she'll love it when it's done!
