Wow ok, this sucks balls. I still need to practice pencil.
(I totally BSed the last half of his cloak mask as you can all tell.)
I know there's a lot of things OFF, but I'm not perfect. XD
The right side of his hair near his eye is a little flat, sorry.

It'll look good(with level ups) when it is finish, thus you are to finish this by default because I said so. xD

LOL. Even with those so called "level ups", it's going to still look like someone farted on it! I guess I'll be balding then. ;D

ohhhhh this ref pic~! : D
heyy it's looking very good D: don't be so hard on yourself~
<3
there is a LOT of digital art on dA. probably because it only requires programs not the actual pencil paper blah. and it's easier to correct mistakes lol. maybe it's because of the whole anime hype too. but i do find sketching much easier~

Ahhhh. Thank you. Bah. I can't help being hard on myself. I'm sure you understand since we're our own toughest critics ya know. XD
That is real true with traditional being more expensive. Though it's healthier on the eyes (depending how close we are to the paper) than say spending 12 hours straight on a computer. XD i say it saves blindness while money can be replenished. D;
To tell the truth, I see a lot of digital artists that don't even know how to use traditional material. Which I personally found very sad and depressing. I don't want to fall into that category since I've been disappointed in myself even for focusing too much on digital.

O.O Can't use traditional media? How can you draw digitally without knowin the basics of a pad and pencil? That boggles my mind dude. Btw, nice work so far on another Satoshi pic. I still want you to put Tsukasa back up though.
I wanted to show it to my sister, it's so cool.

Yes. I've seen a good many that have REAL REAL REAL realistic digital portraits, but their RECENT traditional drawings look like some abstract form of Picasso. Hahaha. <3 I mean it's harsh but I had to be a bit straight forward there.
Digital works completely different from traditional. It's like from opposite worlds. But digital taught me how to use traditional amazingly but it's also hard to take a digital mindset and head over to traditional. I feel traditional, you're more in sync with whatever you touch. Digital is just on the surface. But either way, both have their pros and cons.
I'll redraw that Tsukasa one day when I get better in terms of handling the media and also tapping into my patience. XD It's not that good though. I'm glad you want to show her though. Thank you!!!!!!

Ahh, true, true. I didn't think about that; mostly because I don't do digital works that often (not that they're very good...and *I* can say that, you have no right ). I feel alot more in control when using traditional media.
And no problem. I'm probably one of your biggest fans. I probably would draw you if you would keep you pictures up. *hint hint*

for sure, it's nearly impossible not to be hard on yourself.... -___-
i like your reasoning xD
traditional is much more practical too. you can bring your sketchbook on trips and draw whenever : D no tablet required
can't use traditional material?? D:
>< oh i'm sure you wont fall there. with a resolve like that to keep up the traditional art you surely will not fall there : D

Aw. You are so <3.
Yeh. It's rather sad to know.
People just rely too much on digital to "redo" their mistakes.
If only life was like that. Haha.
